Yeah.
Gundo came home to a falling house of cards, when he could have gone to Arsenal. Twice.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've seen some journos speculating that they think Gundo might have been brought in with a view to replace Pep next year if City do end up dropping down a league or two.

They've been really effective in their cheating and they've got themselves into a position where they do really good albeit dodgy dealings in the market nowadays, but that doesn't tell even half the picture of the stuff that went on to get them to this position and everything that goes on behind the scenes so it's kinda irrelevant.

I'm not the one who came up with the idea, I just heard it and relayed it in the context of the conversation. It's an interesting idea considering he'd already started his coaching work with the youth squads before he left for Barca.
I'd imagine that he's being primed for a coaching/managerial role either way, but if you do go down they'll probably just give it to him straight away.

and your point was but but delap yeah it posts some transfers on the u21s page as it does for every club brewster, hoever sales etc didnt show for Liverpool. So its fair, as fair as any other source out there, including the mess of an article tryna claim city at -70m even if u include 20m for delap etc itts not cover that 230m swing in 5 years ffs.
especially as ud have to include the numerous 18 year olds u signed for 5-10m euros etc too*

Yeah I kinda elaborated on that in another comment that it makes sense he's being primed for that role one way or another, I guess they're just getting him ready now and if you do go down then they'd give it to him early. Otherwise he'll probably take the extension if he has a good year on the pitch and continue his education, move fully into coaching and take over in a few years.

Yeah.
Gundo came home to a falling house of cards, when he could have gone to Arsenal. Twice.

I've seen some journos speculating that they think Gundo might have been brought in with a view to replace Pep next year if City do end up dropping down a league or two.

Gundo signed a one year contract with an option of an extra year. You think he will stick around if we indeed "drop down a league or two"? Are those straws you're grasping the old placky ones or the new crappy paper ones?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not the one who came up with the idea, I just heard it and relayed it in the context of the conversation. It's an interesting idea considering he'd already started his coaching work with the youth squads before he left for Barca.
I'd imagine that he's being primed for a coaching/managerial role either way, but if you do go down they'll probably just give it to him straight away.
