3 games in and you've declared Liverpool challengers and written us off? You're an odd arsenal fan.

Maybe he’s not as insecure as you…..

2 horse race and Liverpool won't be in it.

This no mark Forest fan has a very odd obsession with Liverpool. You’re meaningless, so let it go.

So hard to call, or certainly fourth is.

I’ve got City, Arsenal and Liverpool in that order.

I think I may go Villa. Good squad with a very experienced manager in Europe, which is something none of the others have got.

Arsenal are a better team than Liverpool. We proved that last year. Some people will never learn
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What is there to learn? That this is a new season and it’s a bit daft thinking that everything is the same as last season? I’m not saying we’re better than Arsenal, but you post is nonsense.

Just a weird take, you guys look like you've nailed the new manager appointment but you've not really played anyone decent yet.

I can understand why people might think you'd finish above us, but to have you down as challengers and us not, after the last two seasons, just seems really knee jerk to me.

We've been better than you for the last 2 seasons now and still getting better every season. Okay you might have a brilliant season and win the title in which case fair play. But clearly it is not a 2 horse race between Liverpool and City like the OP thinks

Yeah it's not a two horse race. But at the same time last season is completely irrelevant. It's very early days for Slot but we look to have more control of games whilst still maintaining the same attacking menace. It also remains to be seen how Arsenal react to two consecutive "close but no cigar" seasons.

It will be another intriguing race, but I'm backing us to improve again this season and go that one step further to win the title.

We've been quite a young squad and we seem to take a step forward each season, but the final step is huge and if Haaland stays fit then City look pretty imperious

We can't ignore the possibility that United may do away with ETH soon and employ someone more capable of getting them top 4.

That would be a good decision though, and fortunately United aren't known for those.

Weak squad and team though, lack some stars

They got top 4 just a couple of seasons ago. Is the team that much worse since then? Plus Rashford would probably turn up for a new managerial appointment, until his next season when he reverts back to being useless again.

posted on 3/9/24

Arsenal will NOT be challenging for the title this season let alone winning it. Top4 at best.Throw away the cups.Should beat Bolton in the League Cup though.Should get through the league phase of CL.

City 1st again unless somebody has the bottle to actually punish them and give them a points deduction.

Liverpool 2nd and maybe an FA Cup

Arsenal 3rd

Tottenham 4th

United 5th and maybe the league cup

Chelsea 6th and maybe the conference league

Villa 7th

PMGOL are going to be after Arsenal and deliberately go out of their way to not give any decisions in their favour but be more lenient with the opposition every single game as was proved in the Brighton game

Other than not booking Pedro for kicking the ball away, what did the ref get wrong in the Brighton game?

Because you lot moaning about about rice getting a second yellow for the same thing you wanted Pedro booked for in the first half his laughable. Rice kicked the ball away to delay the taking of the free kick and the restart of the game.

Pedro's wasnt even the same. He and the ball were off the pitch and the multi ball system allows Arsenal to take the throwing asap....no delay whatsoever.

But Arsenal fans follow their whinging leaders example.

Can’t see Arsenal having the same luck with injuries and equally I don’t think ours will be as bad under a new manager not expecting heavy metal football.

City will win by 5+ points, Arsenal and Liverpool battling it out for 2nd. I think Brighton get 4th.

Spurs have got the players to finish top 4, just need Ange to realize you're not gonna win every game 4-0 and a draw away from home is sometimes a good result.

Maybe someone could explain to him that those 4 blokes at stood on the half way line are to there to stop the ball going in our goal
