Not very hopeful, are we?
I think it all boils down to Levy's purchasing strategy (or lack thereof). We bought a bunch of green youngsters who are now expected to play one of the best teams in the league.
Is Bentancur fit to play?
How about VDV?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why we didn't just go out and buy Eze Neto Olmo and Merinho for £220m is sooo Levy ! ! Tight sod!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As I said before, not many Spurs posters on here are hopeful of anything from this match.
Now tell me....why is that?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because you are all negative miserable bastads?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh, Devonshire again!
The Pot calling the kettles black!
I guess this stupid baaastard thinks Spurs will win?
Actually...don't let the twerp know, but.......
if he is capable of thinking....he may be right!
But of course, being who he is, someone from devonshire who cannot sail.....and would sink before he reached the Scilly Islands if he tries.....
he's probably wrong.

We’re sweating on Solanke, VDV and Richarlison.
Arsenal have had 2 seasons with a lot of luck on the injury front with very few key players missing for lengthy time periods. There wasn’t a chance that could continue like it was. Spurs by comparison last season lost VDV, Romero, Udogie and Maddison in the same game whilst we were top of the league. We had Bentancur out for ages, our only striker Richy out and Son away on international duty when no other Prem player of that calibre was. Our starting back 4 against Wolves last season (the game after Chelsea) was Porro, Dier, Davies and Royal playing at left back.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wouldn't say we have had a lot of luck at all. Last season Partey missed most of the season. Timber missed the entire season. The season before that we lost Saliba at a key point in the season. Jesus missed around three months of that season as well. We've also lost a number of players who while not being automatic first picks are still important and have spent a lot of time out namely Tomyasiu for example.

Jesus wasn’t a big miss at all, Havertz has considerably outperformed him.
Other than a relatively short injury for Saliba a couple of years ago the spine of your side has been largely unaffected, I don’t remember Saliba, Gabriel, Rice, Odegaard, Havertz missing many last season other than the odd suspension. Meanwhile City had KDB missing for 6 months.
The Spurs spine of VDV, Romero, Biss, Maddison and Son played 17 times together all season - the majority of that was the first 10 games where we were top of the league.
You’ve had more luck than most in the injury department

Odegaard was stretchered off in tears, after twisting his ankle… he could be out for a while!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No he wasn’t, he hobbled off the pitch with arms over the physios shoulders. He was putting some weight on the ankle.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sprain. Should never play on a sprain straight after, needs rest, but it is possible so long as its not too bad. I think Arsenal will take the risk if he as any chance of playing.
not liking them having injuries for this game, more ammunition for nonsense that will be thrown at us when we lose or excuses if we get a result
their defence are all available and thats gonna be the tricky part for our wasteful attacking play
When you are "sweating" on the fitness of Sowanke and Richy you know you've spent wisely in the transfer market!!

Our midfield has been decimated but we'll be ok..time for our 16yr old prospect to show up
probably be Jorginho, Partey and Zinchenko in there. sit it out, be solid and take all the chances that we present you with
Ridiculous if Solanke is still unavailable coming into this game. Would be a great time to announce himself at Spurs and his physical presence would have been useful around that Arsenal CB pairing.

Arteta hasn't given Zinchenko a sniff of centre mid in over 2 years, hard to see him throwing him in there in a NLD.
If Jesus is fit, it will probably by Jorgy, Partey and Havertz which could be a disaster - Jorgy hasnt played a minute yet this season, Havertz is god awful there and Partey is often ropey. I'd hope we play Timber DM, he's 10x better defensively than Zinchenko and would let us keep Havertz up top
maybe youll ask for the game to be postponed like few years back when you had a few injuries

Legoitis - Arteta’s head is already affected
There is a world where these Arsenal injuries actually hurt us more than them. We all know that we struggle when teams park the bus and then just knock it long over our ridiculously high line.
Last season we dominated possession in this fixture but left acres at the back. On Sunday you just know Sterling and Saka will have miles of space and Arsenal will just bypass the midfield. Meanwhile we will have near 70% possession but constantly shooting high wide and handsome.
