just got on a bus in Albania for 30p. After travelling across the country in a bus for 2 hours, for £4.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Even a model railway costs at least £125 on amazon and that's 1:76 scale. Trains are expensive in this country, even the tiny ones.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Roads are expensive too and I don't use 99% of the roads I pay for with my tax money. We should not be funding roads from our tax money. The customer gets FREE ROADS.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you believe in the congestion charges, Baz?

I think cars should be banned from city centres apart from deliveries and such at certain hours, like in most cities in civilised countries.
You get Tories on here talking about the economy yet also want cars to jam up city centres like in developing countries. Look at the city centres of the most developed cities in the world. Highly efficient public transport systems with pedestrians and cycling in the centres.
Cars should not be in city centres for sooooo many reasons. What are your thoughts?
Remember if everyone took their car into the city centre, then no one could. But it would be interesting if you were to make a case for why you specifically, should be able to?

Yet being ranked 29/172 according to your link makes us one of the LEAST taxed countries?
Hmmm

I'm talking about developed countries - look compared to most of our developed European counterparts. Sorry to expect you to use a little initiative when looking at such figures. Try to compare like with like..............

don't forget France is about six times bigger than England.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
UK 243,610 km²
France 551,695 km²
Back to school, mate!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------------------------------
And Wales. Back to school silver.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh and it was a guess anyway, but I know it's a helluver lot bigger.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But England and UK are synonymous, no?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not if you're Scottish or Welsh. English yes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think he's a Rangers fan so he doesn't distinguish between England and the UK. I assume he is a big fan of Britannia
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Try harder
