We look a total shambles. The heads went down after the first goal.

0-3.

Shambolic defending.

What was Thomason thinking just knocking it tamely like that in his own box.

Sheehan on for Forino. Gone to a back 4.

Too late.

Well that's it then.

Hello to terrible long ball football with the same result.

Going home to watch the cricket. Done with football for the day.

Time to go, maybe look through the round, square or arch window and decide, read the room.

I missed posting yesterday although I watched the game until we went 2-0 down. I had work to do on my project which hopefully is concluding.

The wheels have all dropped off the waggon and it's time to make the most important decision of the season. Will Sharon do what is necessary? I doubt it but action needs to be taken now.

He should have gone at the end of last season but his decisions on the new trainer and lack of ideas on how to fix the problems must surely have come to a head. Time is of the essence, make the change.

I'm going to try to keep this going but I'm not doing this on my own. I'm happy for all members to be on here old friends as well but must be civil with each other. I haven't met anyone on here personally for a few years or so. I don't want anyone to leave and pasty and swie that includes you 2. I'm not a moderator or admin or have time to do that. Any concerns advise admin and let them de with it. I want to try to build this up and get some of the Facebook guys on which may double admins job. Use it or lose it. Need everyone on board here. All members. If it doesn't this board fails. Thanks everyone.

Benny, I won't be leaving. For the last three months whilst I have been in Spain, I have been trying to sort out my life, with regard to where I live. I'm 76 now and it's crucial that I get it right. It's the last time that I will be moving home and it has been hard work as I have not been able to do anything positive except search daily through websites. Properties I wanted being sold before I arrived back in the UK, and starting again with my search.

It's taken a long time and it looks as if matters are finaly coming to a conclusion. I'm hoping tomorrow will be the day when I can finalise my plans, but as I have told my wife she can pick the property, so nothing is straight forward. After we move, I can relax and get things back to normality.

I think we are all miserable because of the way our season has started. Hopefully matters on that front will come to a head as we can't keep putting up with failure. It's hard but matters need to be addressed.

I stayed to the bitter end. Had to shut of mentally from it all. Anyone been on Bolton till I die on Facebook? Found it draining. 7 I was shattered, 8 in bed and slept straight through to 4.30. That's just me been the game. I look at evatt he's shattered mentally. Unless you're someone like sir alex management isn't a long term job. Look what it did to klopp. Time for a change because of that.

Yes, Evatt doesn't have the answers, it needed a definite change in how we play as we have been well and truely sussed out. That smart arised manager of Oxford explaind to the world how he managed to beat us at Wembley and the opposition read it and inwardly digested it. now we are broken.

I said it when I read the article and sadly it has cme to pass. Evatt and his second in command have no asnwers except to try to play on with his failed methods.

Hopefully, today will be the day of change, a new manager is needed, someone who can put steel into the team and bring about a complete turn around.

If Sharon doesn't do what needs to be done she may have us stuck in the first division for a lot longer than this season. I'm sure that is not part of the plan so let's hope for a positive decission.

A note for Pasty, Don't desert the forum, we need you and don't let one person's comments upset you. He does not in any way speak for anyone else but himself.

We all hope to see you back with your usual vigour and comments, Please don't let us down. I know that I speak for all of the regular posters, don't allow one person to destroy this forum as that is a distinct possibility if you succumb to his vitriol.

The rumours are an announcement will be made today. Another evatt and Atherton have left the club. Hard wading through it all. All sorts of names mentioned as replacements. Sam and Kevin Nolan. No chance. Gareth Ainsworth. Did well at Wycombe but not at qpr. Others he is staying. Head down I think just see what happens.

First sacking of the day. Steven Schumacher at stoke who won league one with Plymouth season before last.

I don't think we'll be going too far away from the style of football we have at the moment. Someone maybe not totally wedded to it like Evatt is.

You can play the ball short whilst still going forward. Maybe someone who models himself on Klopp rather than Pep will work better in League one with League one players.

Another rumour. Sack the coach. Craddock has gone. Only rumours.

posted on 16/9/24

Second rumour just been put up on the BN website so we're just waiting for the official announcement on how many more as well as Craddock have been potted. Looks like one of the analysts has gone as well.

Needless to say the comments section is delighted with these developments.

Can't be doing with BN or Bolton till I die. The loudest surely must be in a minority. Santos sacked as captain and Thomason the new captain another. So hard sifting through the rubbish. Oh and those threatening to boycott. Stay away. Rather have real supporters in the stadium whatever it is 15000 than 20000 plus with the fickle part timers. I'm so annoyed with those idiots at the moment.

posted on 16/9/24

It looks as though Evatt is staying put and the B team manager and Evatts sidekick plus one of the development team are waiting for their taxis.

Funny how the guy who is at the head gets to stay. I had a feeling Sharon would stay faithful to Evatt. She may be right but I don't think she is hard enough for the job in hand.

Time will tell.

Last time we were in a hot mess we sacked the director of football and all was well in the end.

Could be a lack of clear instruction on the part of the coach that's gone that's led to this or anything. Time will tell.

I generally avoid the lower reaches of the BN articles as the comments are genuinely unhinged. Though sometimes it's just nice to have a brew and laugh at some of the quite insane drivel that some people come out with.

Some good news, The Women's team have signed a good prospect from our neighbours Blackburn. The team has now won six games on the trot.

Why can't we play the women's team in league one?

Come on Pasty, stop thinking and come back and post!

I don't believe you are not looking at our posts.

Evatt usually faces the press today so see what updates there are later. Also the official team photos were taken yesterday.

posted on 19/9/24

I haven't seen the team photo. I suppose Mr. Iles will print it soon.

Seems to be that Craddock went a few days back.

Seen the club doing the photo behind the scenes yesterday. Wouldn't be surprised to see it given an airing in the programme on Saturday. Online either just before or just after.
