Well, poor performance against a team of Premier League misfits. Think a good goal blurred the pundits opinion at Half Time.

I dont get why we continually d!ck around with the ball around the back and GK.. We try to control the game from too deep down the pitch. Felt like we were waiting to concede when we went ahead. When we conceded we pushed higher up but werent enough of a goal threat.

I don't mind playing out from the back, but it's only effective if you have a dynamic midfield and can capitalise on the chances created. The first goal was superb, but the missed opportunities, especially Rashford's two misses, highlight the drawbacks. These misses draw attention back to the fact that playing out from the back may not always be necessary, especially when going direct could be more efficient. Our attack and how it continues to be wasteful, simply because it is not good enough, is the issue.
