We aren't being let down by shape or effort. There is just a gulf in quality between what is the best team they can field tonight and a rotated one from us. It looked a mismatch before KO.

Me too. I was ready for something new after years of 4 at the back.

We obviously need to add 4/5 new players to it as well before we will reap the benefits.

Once we are more accustomed to it and can bring more players in to compliment those that already suit it, it’s exciting.

Whether it’s going to get results this soon or not, we HAVE some semblance of a system in place already, never felt like that under Ten Hag.

He will be the back up next season. Definitely wouldn't sell him as he's got talent but we need a better number 9 in the short term .

Doesn’t the panic inside our box remind you of the Ole years? It’s the presence of Lindelof. I said it before the start of the game: he invites danger.
