The improved performance today wasn't down to some magic or anything. It was just doing the basics well and with a bit more intent. There's no reason at all why we can't do that more often. No reason.

No real difference to how we usually play. We underperformed our XG by 6 which has cost us wins.

And how much did 4-4-2 factor into it?..

Lets say we scored one against Villa and Palace and 2 more against Brighton remembering Garnacho possible goal disallowed due Zirkee and Amad sitter miss and Rashford chances. That is 7 more points we should have had which put us on 18 points. Even Liverpool game we missed 4 sitters and Liverpool also scored a goal from a clear foul so that is another 3 points we should have had. 10 more points possible if we had any decent attackers.
