Not his biggest fan but he doe not deserve abuse.
His confidence must be so low, he never takes on his man and always takes the safest option. Hopefully last nights goal gives him a much needed confidence boost
All the abuse he has recieved will either make him or break him. It's all character building. Will he sink or swim? The Coventry winner could be a great platform for him.
Danny Rose suffered similar abuse at the start and he turned it around. Hope Johnson does the same.
I’ve watched Brennan for years and the short answer is yes.
He’s numbers are more than decemt decent and he is what he is. He gets slated cos of the price, and that’s nothing to do with him really. Top lad too, good pro by all accounts.
I mean. If he scores after getting solid abuse for a week maybe we should keep doing it and see where it gets us
As far as I’m concerned I support anyone who wears the shirt until they disrespect it. Doesn’t matter if I “like” them or think their crap, average etc. support the club? Support the player.

But the idea you can’t say a player or manager is rubbish etc is ludicrous.
We pay so we are allowed an opinion
We should give Ange abuse so he won't play Forster
Seriously though, obviously there's a difference between sharing opinions on a forum or in the pub and going to the stadium and booing or directly on social media to give players a hard time. There's no justification for it, it's just being a caant.. unless they disrespect the shirt as said above

Yeah exactly, I mean I think Werner is schitt, but on Saturday I will be cheering him on and I have a bit of a life so am not going to be the sort of loser who goes on social media to tell him he’s schitt.
Saying you think someone’s schitt on a forum is fine - it’s all opinion and you can imagine some players thriving on it and those that don’t will avoid these sort of sites.
But for Brennan to be afraid to come over to his own fans - disgrace, some of our “fans” abusing him are more than twice his age and need to grow the faaack up

It is but that’s the nature of the beast of social media.
You have to either ignore ( or better use it to fire you up ) or don’t use it at all.
My problem here is someone asked on a forum about said player then decided we are awful fans, toxic, disgusting etc
( ironically said person does the exactly same on here himself )

Yea although I mean Johnson isn’t a kid and should know how to handle it even though we all agree he ( or anyone ) should.
Still when he’s on the pitch he shouldn’t be taking it out on the fans at the ground.
