Dunno.. wouldn't drop Porro (Him, VDV and Kulu have been our best players this season)... Guess he could be an option in CM if Biss still injured?

For me it all boils down to creating (& finishing) better chances.

We have averaged over 66% possession. We have averaged 16 shots and 6 on target.

These are some of the best stats in the league but the quality of chances have not been good enough. You cannot say we're missing chances, we're just not making good enough chances.

This does come down to how teams set up against us and it is on us to find a way around that.

We have seen we are very capable of creating and scoring under Ange, but when that fails, results like Leicester Arsenal and NUFC happen. Games we were really very much in, very competitive.

Create and score and suddenly the worries go away. Struggle and we will start to get nervy and fear a defensive slip up.

A big part of this is Solanke - a runner, a presser, a finisher, a target man and aerial threat. We have to maximise all he has to offer to be able to mix up our tactics. Quicker passing, mor direct at times, play off Solanke, get quality crosses in from different areas.

I want to start to see us mixing it up to unsettle an oppositions very settled tactics against us. Some players also need to up their game.

Shouldn’t be a massive game really, massive games are against Arsenal, Chelsea, City, Utd and Liverpool.

Brentford at home SHOULD be a game we’re pretty confident in winning.

I’ll go 2-1 just for the Hell of it, but it’s based on nothing more than wishful thinking.

Deki & Johnson to score

Bissouma and Bentancur if fit. Madders ahead.

Son Solanke Deki

Defence picks itself.

First game of the season for me. I think Spurs will win if they get their act together. Defence picks itself, and if Bissouma is fit he starts alongside Maddison. I then wouldn't mind Gray starting alongside those two. Bentancur has been well of the pace since his injury, and other than the pass for the winning goal midweek has contributed nothing all season. Sarr probably needs arrest, still got plenty to offer, but not at his best. Son, Kulu, Johnson and Solanke the other starters.

Drag Romero VDV
Porro Bents Maddison Deki Udogie
Son Solanke

Play your best players in their best positions👍🏻

would be fascinating to see but I very much doubt it

Its odd, you could argue we have better players now to play 3 at the back than we did under Conte.....

3 strong CBS
WBs that love to play high up the pitch
A Big strong CF that Sonny can play off (like he did with Kane
a Proper 10 in Madders than can operate between the opposition defense & midfield

Sadly we are loaded with Wingers that Im not sure make us better

if hes not play Bergvall

BJ super sub
Moore instead of Werner on the bench

Odobert has a hamstring injury… so depending on the grade, that’s at least 2-3 weeks for a grade 1

Bissouma is back & available

Richarlison still not trained with the 1st team… that can only be a matter of time

Werner seems to be available… which is strange, given the way he pulled up…Can’t believe he used to be a full German international!!

Tough to be positive....

Not in great form.

Players dropping like flies.

Question marks over the manager.
