i'm happy with our 4 cm's. i think we can rotate them quite carefully.
a few grumbles about hatate but i think people are looking for it, the last 3 games all of our players have given the ball away a few times. its easy to pass it back to the cb's, if we want to improve we need to be brave on the ball and accept we might lose it now and then.
his pass to valle for the goal was good, bernardos finish was wonderful.
so to summarise, no more ralston and welsh. and rangers are fat.

Point of order: they're also vvanks.
Hatate is a tremendously talentd player. He slows our play down at times but I feel I am nit picking when I criticise him
Between McGregor, Engels, Hatate and Bernardo we have great options. McCowan I think will prove to be a great addition to that group too
Between them they can only do so much if we don't have a strong attack. Palma is not that. Forrest is a great impact sub. Yang is not good enough
In January and next summer I'd expect us to replace them and provide good back up or challenges for Kuhn and Maeda
We should be thinking about a RB in the January window as priority #1, cover for Johnstone as Ralston is simply not good enough he tries I’ll give him that but he simply is not blessed with enough ability

John Gilligan press conference
I will stay on as long as is required, I’m expecting a few months, CEO is our number one priority
What we need is an assertive character, on the forefront with a new chairman just behind him
I’m here to bring stability, we are ready to keep going & help recruit a CEO
Decisions are made, Good & Bad, a lot of great things have happened
Mrs Gilligan is not to happy but I am honoured to be here. I wear two hats, as a supporter & a Chairman, but now I am Chairman I park those emotions
Dave King is a major shareholder, he can say what he wants, but it’s unrealistic (as is the EGM) as we don’t want to call an EGM because this board are happy with forward plans.
There will be fresh investment in the club (from existing shareholders)
I haven’t spoken to Dave King.
It’s a ridiculous comparison, 2015 we were so low in what we inherited. This is now unrecognisable to where we are, it’s not even comparable.
(On Celtic) We will keep chasing Celtic, Be naive to say otherwise, I’m not silly but we will keep at it
It’s only destabilising if we don’t have a plan, we have a plan, Dave can say what he wants
(On investment) Current investors are prepared to do that. We are open to new approaches but it has to be right people and not one owner.
You can’t put a number on it, the gap is considerable but we have to challenge.
Very impressed with the Manager, met him with George Letham, we won’t interfere with that. I hope to help the manager with speaking for the club to let him concentrate on football.
He has our upmost support.
If someone exceptional appeared outside football, we would consider it.
We are moving quickly on the CEO Job.
Strong business knowledge, need to handle pressure which delivers, good communication, tremendous work effort.
Being back at Ibrox is huge, we thank the league for helping us with Hampden but we are back home
Copland stand is imminent but we just need full clearance, structural we are there
Personally I believe in the manager
On King, we haven’t said anything or responded, will I ever say anything bad about Dave, No.
But I would hope he does leave it now & behave like a proper shareholder.
Full focus on CEO so if anything else happens we can be involved in anymore appointments.

Engels has played RB, so could certainly cover there in an emergency … an emergency being having to play Ralston! Not ideal obviously, as we wouldn’t want to lose his talents from midfield. I’m no longer in the camp of thinking Ralston is “OK back up” … he absolutely isn’t, even against the likes of Falkirk.
Not sure what the issue with the record is - they have pretty much paraphrased what Gilligan has said. In private, in the boardroom I'm certain it would have been less polite than 'shut up'!
King is gold for the press - always provides copy.
We will continue to chase Celtic…ooft he is being honest but I bet that comment enraged a good few of the more staunch bears you know the Mason Boyne types who have 1690 as their pin.

Nobody played well against Falkirk apart from Bernardo then we brought on a few more if our top team and blew them away ,point being Ralston was poor along with everyone else on the park but he has proven adequate domestically and as I say you won't get quality to sit on the bench with little to no game time ,the idea of wasting engels there is plain daft
but he has proven adequate domestically
=============
thats the point , no hes not ...anytime he plays he just looks like someone whos struggling in the game .
Anytime his name is on the teamsheet i have the fear, no matter who we are playing
fck id take Jonjoe Kenny over him !

All about opinions, but I totally disagree that Ralston is “adequate domestically”. He’s a hod carrier masquerading as a pro footballer. Domestically our FBs should be spending most of their time in the attacking half, but Ralston doesn’t have the ability to offer much there. I did say Engels COULD provide emergency cover at RB, that’s all. He’s played RB, CM and RW in the past. Also potentially a way of playing CalMac, Hatate, Bernardo and Engels in the same team. Not for a minute suggesting that should be a regular thing though, but don’t think it’s that daft an option if required … not as daft as Lenny playing CalMac at LB in Europe anyway.

We should be thinking about a RB in the January window as priority #1, cover for Johnstone as Ralston is simply not good enough he tries I’ll give him that but he simply is not blessed with enough ability
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ypur not going to get a quality stand in right back as a quality player will not want to sit on the bench, and do you really want to rotate your back 4 ??? Look what happened yesterday !!! Ralston is fine as a stand in for domestic matches imho
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Engels has played RB, so could certainly cover there in an emergency … an emergency being having to play Ralston! Not ideal obviously, as we wouldn’t want to lose his talents from midfield. I’m no longer in the camp of thinking Ralston is “OK back up” … he absolutely isn’t, even against the likes of Falkirk.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nobody played well against Falkirk apart from Bernardo then we brought on a few more if our top team and blew them away ,point being Ralston was poor along with everyone else on the park but he has proven adequate domestically and as I say you won't get quality to sit on the bench with little to no game time ,the idea of wasting engels there is plain daft

Think I’ll apply

Severely limited here in terms of being up to speed on things.
Apart from the lack of a pub setting Gilligan reminded me of Bairds.
