Just out of interest i find it hard to believe that throughout the whole PL Gameweek only Trossard kicked, somewhat preventing a quick FK even though Bernando was on the floor crying away.
I can guarantee at least 1-2 occasions in each PL game where a player kicked it away. (doesnt matter if the ball was kicked 10 CM or 40 yards as both are bookings when your an arsenal player)

I’ve just rewatched the highlights, did Haaland seriously get away with shoving 2 players at the end of the game?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Didn't see that.
I did see him take out Saliba and also throw a ball at Gabriels head in celebration of their second goal.
Should've been off really. What's the point in VAR exactly if it doesn't see things like the Gabriel incident?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It did and they didn’t deem it a red card offence.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So players can throw the ball at opposition players for a the craic?
Gotcha.
Just make sure the ref isn't looking. We've seen players banned retrospectively to set precedence for less in the past.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Like what?
This is probably Oliver’s biggest fack up as a ref in recent memory

For example, Rooney got a 2 game ban for swearing, yet players are caught swearing all the time.
Throwing the ball like that is a yellow, but Oliver is lucky no Arsenal player was looking and Gabriel had his shirt over his head, otherwise it would have probably kicked off and he would have to get involved.
Haaland could easily have been booked on 4 separate occasions and got away without one.

I think that's more the point, it's unsporting behaviour, it's distasteful and unnecessary.
Then again, I complain about a lack of characters in football and Haaland is certainly one, so I probably complain too much.
In regards to his fouls, Partey and Saliba decided to move into Haalands run and got what they deserved tbh. Defenders have been doing that a lot of late.

Yeh you're right, guess that was just a response to Havertz leaving it in on Rodri.
Havertz did what??? Rodri stepped into Havertz and threw himself to the floor. Gary Neville lied and claimed there was a raised elbow and people just accepted that as fact.
As least Stephen Warnock told the truth about it, maybe he can replace the fackwits Neville and Carragher.
The guy is scunnmmy. At this point it will be in the best interest of the league if he isn't reffing certain games.

All the refs are pretty poor these days it seems, what makes it worse is the PGMOL refuse to ever admit fault, instead continually making terrible excuses for poor calls, even if that means completely contradicting themselves continually.
I don't think it helps that Oliver has such a punchable face. Hasn't he also been paid to ref in the UAE which has links to the owners of City?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He refereed a game between 2 Saudi teams in the UAE and was paid by the UAEFA which have fek all to do with City.
The linesmen and 4th official were also English, it was part of a PGMOL scheme to 'educate' officals in other countries and Oliver is just one of a number of refs that officiated abroad last year.
Don't let the facts get in the way of your tin-foil hat though.

No. Mansour individually owns a team in the UAE league.
As far as I can gather, it was the Saudi version of the Community Shield but they held it in Abu Dhabi.

It’s irrelevant anyway as Mansour hasn’t got anything to do with the league governance or ownership, he has a team in the league itself.
Depends if you believe that the UAE isn’t corrupt, I guess.
Doesnt matter who it was, i dont think there should ever be that conflict of interest, esp now with multiple state owned clubs in the prem. Absolutely ridiculous by Webb and the PGMOL to sanction it even saying itd be good for them tryna pass it off as a good idea.
They all work together doing similar stuff over there with similar goals we've no idea what they get up to. So why risk it? Esp an area of the world known to have bribed officials in football.
