Why won’t he be playing any games for a year?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
9 months , 1 year, same difference. He’s done.
He wanted less games. He got it
Don’t think the ACL is confirmed though. And now that you’ve wrote this, we are sure to pick up an ACL vs Bolton
To be honest Rodri is right, there are too many games. I don’t know why they added more games to the CL group stage and reward teams with less games if they win more points. The old system was fine.

Many sources are saying it’s confirmed.
I don’t think there’s any chance it’s not true.
Completely pathetic of course, considering how easy their job is compared to most jobs.
Why aren't a professional footballer then instead of a professional tosser?
I'm sure the pay must be better.

They are all quoting the same report from MARCA in Madrid so there is a chance it may not be true at all.
Be a pity if Odergaard is rushed back early and ends up out for 12 months wouldn't it?
Hopefully we don’t rush him back like City did with Rodri…

Really would
I hope they shorten schedules by 10 games. Then I don’t need to watch Man Utd miss sitter after sitter. I was glad we qualified for the Europa League as we have unfinished business in that competition. Maybe get rid of international pointless matches.
ACL injury is a nightmare, done mine years ago whilst boxing, was out for the best part of a year and I also played Basketball and that pretty much knackered that, obvs Rodri will be getting far superior care and medical assistance but it is still a horrible injury with anything dynamic sporting wise

It would be horrible if you was an Arsenal fan and everyone was celebrating a season ending injury to an important player....you'd think they were proper skum
Nt a single professional player, past or present disagreed with Rodri when he said there were too many games.
I'm glad the OP has corrected with them all.

Odergaard wasn’t complaining and whining about too many games.
Rodri was the one who tempted fate with that rhetoric

He’s an overrated player anyway, all the Ballon d’Or talk was hilarious really given his obvious limitations as a player. Sometimes when players get pushed down the public’s throat too much, like the media did with him, things don’t quite pan out.

I can’t believe I’m about to bite on this, but here we go…
If Rodri is that overrated, why does his injury guarantee Arsenal the title?

Otherwise Norway are never making a tournament.
Rodri is perhaps the best player in his position, he makes City so much more effective and solid, they will defo miss him
No one's mentioned the fact City won the Community Shield and the first 4 games of the season without Rodri.

He’s just not the player that people make him out to be.
