Never good to see these type of injuries to any player no matter who they play for.

However on the broader point of more games.....I'm glad we are a bit crap at the moment and haven't qualified for this ridiculous club world cup next summer. Any same PL manager and chairman would pull out and allow their players some time off. It's absolute stupidity.

NHL & NBA have 82 games per season. I'm well aware NFL teams play once a week with a by week now and then.

I followed the NBA quite tightly 80s and 0s and as well as the amount of league games and playoff games it was the travelling as well, never gave it a thought previously but with consideration it probs is too many

Also there are football games that just don't need to be played, club and internationals but money talks sadly

Everything we were taught in school was in metric which must have been hard for immigrant kids who's parents have never used Imperial so couldn't pass on the knowledge.
