Obviously feel he would have liked to include a cup win or a title clearly but sadly not yet, the 3 mentioned are fair enough but not for a fan, the new stadium will serve you well moving forward and help fiscally but I'd be certain an FA cup or something like it would be what the fans prefer?
We did win the EFL Cup with Levy, beating Chelsea. The fact he doesnt mention it perhaps speaks of his priorities - UCL final loss > EFL Cup win.

Devon I had forgot he was there when that was won, forgot he'd been there as long, winning "stuff" atm is tough as other teams have improved vastly and with cups even one bad or unlucky performance can pap you out, its fans of any club I feel for, they're the ones who suffer at work and with some friends/family members over the week

Definitely in the earlier ENIC/Levy days the top 4 promised land skewed all our priorities and tbh we rarely had a squad to compete on more than 1 front (which wasn't necessarily ENICs fault, just a financial reality).
I think now top 4 or better remains the priority but on the basis that not only does it generate huge funds, giving you the chance to improve further, but a top 4 team will naturally have enough quality to compete for the cups.
When you look at winners of the domestic cups over the last decade, its been City, Liverpool, Chelsea United, Arsenal almost without fail. Leicester being the single exception. There's been only 3 excpetions to that list in the FA Cup since 1995!
The logic therefore follows that if you are good enough to compete towards the top end you are good enough to win a cup.
Spurs could rest all their players in teh league and save them for the cup but it still doesnt mean they'll win the cup, so a quality competitive squad is the target and that should allow us to compete on more than one front.
We need to get this monkey off our back. There's legendary status waiting for whoever can achieve it
Whether or not Levy stays or goes, and imo I dont see the ownership changing too much from what it is atm even if new owners did come in finding a "good" one is a bit of a lottery for any club.
Agree with Devons point about ensuring the squad is continually improved, better players, deeper squad will only help and that is sometimes where the owner can improve things, along with the scouts, coaches and manager, he has spent but perhaps not always at the required level, next 18-24 months could be pivotal
I think we are on the right track now. There's a much better team and football expertise around Levy now.
Our transfers have been good over the last 2 or 3 seasons and we have continually been able to spend high sums.
There is real impatience amongst the fans where by they are quick to judge players who really are at the start of their careers, on the basis that the don't take us to the next level now. It's understandable, the Spurs Cockerel is hoarse from the amount of new dawns it's crowed in.
The squad is getting stronger and stronger and we will soon be in a place where we are selectively adding 2 or 3 real quality players rather than having to strip out deadwood and make half a dozen additions.
While it's Ange's team i don't think we will run into any issues if Ange were to go and someone else came in. If his way fails then there is the quality in the squad and individuals to adapt to other styles (except maybe Jose/Conte ball).
Spurs fans are tired of the promise of jam tomorrow, but things feel a little bit different this time, IMO.
Yeh there seems to a different vibe about the club now, still need certain things to change, even slightly and I do hope Ang succeeds as I like him and the way he tries to play but if not the next manager at least has the nucleus of a good squad and might be able to make that next step up
As I said if the fans can give it more time then fingers crossed Spurs could be in the mix far more
Fans have evey right to be impatient. Not with players or coaches but the club in general. We win fack all every season and watch every other facker win trophies even when they are worse than us. We just don't have a winning club and never see proper success.
Saying its coming or we are setup for the future is something we have heard for years. But nothing changes.
It's almost like he's mixed up highlights with achievements, or he realises that saying business related stuff wouldn't sit well with the fans. I think deep down his greatest achievements are going to be things like net spend and financial wealth.

The stadium for sure.
When you look at the list of winners of domestic competitions over the last 10 years you can see that it is dominated by Man City, Chelsea, Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool.
Leicester managed to buck the trend in 2016 by winning the PL (which was miraculous) and they also managed to win a league cup in 2021. But on the whole it's been the same five teams.

Hopefully as FFP/PSR takes more hold on the game it will open up opportunities for the likes of Spurs and others. But it really is the same clubs overall that are winning things and it's easy to think the Spurs are the only club that hasn't won anything.
With the recruitment of Ange last season the club are trying something different. As Ange has said, if you keep doing things the same way you get the same results.
I for one am positive that Ange will win a trophy for our club, but that will be dependent on him continuing to be backed by the club and for the fans to not throw their dummies out of the pram after every set back.
Despite all the doom and gloom that has hung over us these last few weeks, we're only actually 4 points behind Arsenal in the PL and we're still in the League cup!

Shows the ultimate underachievement of the club that we have occupied many of the same spaces as those teams in the league and not converted to any success. Had our share of being above Liverpool, United, Arsenal and Chelsea. Maybe not so much City.
Fair play to Leicester though, they've essentially put their name up there where ours should be. Even Arsenal and their 4 cups, in this period of time that should have been similar for us. We've had the squads and momentum at times to do it.

Value of the investment (THFC) has little to do with what they can then invest in the team.
Revenue is king in respect of how much we can spend in the market.
Look at Newcastle. State owned with unlimited pockets which could & would easily afford a fantasy league approach to building their club and team....but instead they have to sell players, make free transfers and limit spending (£65m this summer, net they made a profit of £5m). Thats because they made £250m last time around and Spurs much greater spending off the back of £550m revenues.
Fans need to decide where they want to be...an Everton who over stretched and are now doomed, a Newcastle who despite their vast stadium have matchday revenues of less than £40m compared to ours of £118m.
Fans like you conflate our lack of success with a lack of investment and that is not supported by the facts.
This club has been put in to an extremely strong financial position, delivering revenues that have now begun to make a massive impact on our ability to invest in the squad.
Its chicken and egg with regards to success. Look at the list above of teams who have dominated the trophies over 10 years. Oil doped Chelsea and City, super-clubs Liverpool & United, whose financial power has always been at the very top. Arsenal on the fringes of that off the back of Wenger's legacy.
We are now in a period where we should be reaping the rewards from some tough years where we have been massively financially inferior, or impacted by our stadium build.
I said on another thread that this is the period to judge the ownership. They have done almost all they can in terms of making us financially competitive. We are bringing in the money. It's now how it is spent and the decisions they make on the playing side with the objective of making us a success. That is now behind us. We are positioned to grow and succeed but that will take a bit of time - i hate referring to it but look closely at what Arsenal have done. The time they took to completely evolve their squad, their patterns of spending, the steady progress season on season.
At least let this play out because the old "in it for profit' narrative is not only inaccurate but is also a tired old argument. Get behind the club. Hold them to account for their footballing decisions but stop looking backwards, constantly backwards at stuff which now has no impact on where we are going as a club.
‘Fans like you conflate our lack of success with a lack of investment and that is not supported by the facts.’
Of course it’s supported by facts. We were closest under Poch. Levy decided not to spend for two years.
We were close under rednapp. Levy gave him Nelson and Saha on the cheap
That happened. We could’ve won things with a couple of bigger signings. Levy didn’t spend
Instead he sacked Poch and rednapp, hiring Jose and avb instead
Much cheaper to change the manager
Lack of investment at the right time.
Dele Ali recently said, even when spurs were really good and close, all the players thought they were a couple of signings short
But ok, let’s see how we get on now we have the stadium etc etc. how many more years of football failure will you need to see what’s really going on?

When you look at the list of winners of domestic competitions over the last 10 years you can see that it is dominated by Man City, Chelsea, Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool.
Leicester managed to buck the trend in 2016 by winning the PL (which was miraculous) and they also managed to win a league cup in 2021. But on the whole it's been the same five teams.
Premier league
2013-14 Man City
2014-15 Chelsea
2015-16 Leicester
2016-17 Chelsea
2017-18 Man City
2018-19 Man City
2019-20 Liverpool
2020-21 Man City
2021-22 Man City
2022-23 Man City
2023-24 Man city
FA Cup
2013-14 Arsenal
2014-15 Arsenal
2015-16 Man United

2023-24 Man United
League Cup

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Shows the ultimate underachievement of the club that we have occupied many of the same spaces as those teams in the league and not converted to any success.
