They’re all happy to take the increase in pay that these extra games are funding though, aren’t they?

I’ll respect their complaints if they state that they’d be happy to take a pay cut in line with reduced fixtures.

Double-headers 3 times a week. Squads of 60+. Just fire them when they're injured get new ones in. Easy peasy.

While there might be fixture congestion at certain points, it is not so different to someone working in a boarding school. They might have lots of lessons and duties at certain points, but then they have long periods of recovery in holidays.

Of course it’s possible, but the rest of society have to do the job they signed up for. If you told your employer you’re doing too much and you want it reduced to say a 4 day week, they might agree but they’ll pay you less. I don’t see any players advocating a pay cut for playing less( do you ?

Actually reducing fixtures is a grate idea. If we had 45 minute games we could have 210 games a season

It is not good for mental health of the players playing so much.

Bales, 3 double headers a week👍 312 games a year. And if they go lame we'll, They Shoot Horses Don't They?

You know who gets at least 3 weeks holiday a year? Pretty much everyone

But not everyone gets paid so much.
