Thinking about-
atmosphere
facilities
standing/seating areas
getting to and from
anything else really
—-
Aren’t we forgetting the potability of the lavvy water?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
and smell, points are deducted for requiring a hazmat suit
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Points awarded if you can find one to fit you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
you dont allow us to go . so no need
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This probably merits further discussion.

Alright St3vie. 69 pages to talk about what a gaylord whodunnit is and then a last-minute “Yes, agreed, both clubs are definitely at fault” post to wind it up.

Spurs is probably the best I’ve been to on the criteria given

Years ago at Palmerston. Was stunned when fans changed ends at half time

Lucky enough to have seen Boca at La Bombanera.

Absolutely insane experience and nothing in the UK comes remotely close. Scary getting in, lots of security cordons, and then just non stop noise, a customary dust up in the bear pit below and fireworks, ticker tape etc, absolute mayhem from start to finish.

Also went to the Maracana(new one) a week or so later, nowhere near the same though only half full.

if any two can "pull it off" its you two ... memba you even created a thread about little old me before. its so flattering.

Worst for me.
The emirates and wembley.
Don't like the new stadiums. seem soulless. The Emirates is like its put up with plastic with a silly plastic clock down one end, chairs that you can fall asleep in and just like I say soulless. Only been there twice and both times we won but didn't rate it at all.

Haven't been to spurs new one though but hopefully that's been done right.

Wembley, a pain to get into, Raffle on if you get a good seat, blinded by the sun depending on the day. Rip off food and drink. If it wasn't for it being a final it would have no redeeming qualities.

Ones I like, strangely enough I like the Etihad, and Villa Park.

It was really more about St3vie.

Mmm…St3vie…

Once this has ran its course, I’d like to open up the discussion to public parks. We could consider

atmosphere
facilities
standing/seating areas
getting to and from
discretion of local police

I remember years ago going to East Fife and being able to walk round to the other side at half time.

I have recently been at Stenhousmuir as CS Jnr was playing there. Not sure you can call it a stadium really. Wee Jum came along for a chat, walked out to costa then back in

I think what he means is that despite Celtic being a progressive club they still only have two genders of toilet facilities.

Scotland only, for fair comparison.

Best:

Eriskay
Claggan Park
Tynecastle
Celtic Park
Ibrox

Worst:

Meadowbank
McDiarmid Park
New Douglas Park
Hampden
Central Park

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aye, New Douglas Park, the smell of weed...

enough to give you a headache ! whit a load of pisch

POV Jnr is keen to go to the san siro while we’re in Bergamo next week. See how we go getting tickets for the Atalanta game, if we can do both games then fair enough.

Told him that he’s probably going to be disappointed-some structure from the outside, but woeful inside the stadium.

Not really. I know no son of POV would end a sentence on a preposition.”

Metropolitano was a good stadium

Villa Park has always been a ground I love to go to

Highbury was a fantastic place to go and watch football, always a good atmosphere and The East stand was iconic.

Kennilworth Road and Plough Lane were the worst i've been to.

Wembley was a special place before it was demolished (not by you Jocks )watching Spurs win The F A Cup in 1980 and 1981 were 2 of my best days at football. It's still a decent stadium tho.

I miss the old White Hart Lane but our new ground is fantastic and I've got a good seat which helps and I've met lots of people that have been there and loved it.

Not a chance with tickets for that. Printed names on them and you have to show ID with a photo.I’ve handed mine to my two boys and their names are printed. Can’t be rsed with all that travelling and expense to see another doing.

Plus we’re facing an away ban on supporters if we indulge in the pyros again. That will mean Zagreb and Villa away. Just takes one wee Bastirt to ruin it for thousands.

One of the worst I ever went to was Burnden Park back in the day
It was the last word in Northern neglect

Also recall having to walk through a load of allotments to get into the away end at Vicarage Road once....that was bizarre

Ginger’s here with your morning cheer!

Don’t disagree about the possible result, I’m just looking forward to the trip more than anything by.

Could have bought the tickets online, but would have had to change our country of birth as they won’t sell online tickets to anyone from GB and NI. We could have changed our country of birth, but we’re not the most convincing Asians you would ever see, so the fact we would have to produce ID was the problem.

There’s still enough tickets for sale in the home end-we’ll go to their ticket office on Monday and ask the question about getting in with our ID.
