This from your favourite paper, the guardian:

"The Manchester United defender Noussair Mazraoui will be sidelined for several weeks having undergone a medical procedure after heart palpitations. Club sources have played down the seriousness, insisting it is a precautionary, minor corrective procedure to rectify a relatively common condition."

Mazraoui may not return this weekend but will be back sooner rather than later.

They needed someone who was a better blocker of the ball than AWB

Injuries are not a good thing (obviously) particularly Shaw's, but then none of those needed to have mattered if a] AWB hadn't been shortsightedly sold and b] the club stop relying on deadbeats or (EPL) un-tested players to fill vital spots.

Besides, none of those listed by the OP have done anything like enough to warrant an automatic start

Injuries aren't a valid excuse anymore. We've not had that many this season up until this point and we've still been rubbish. Now they are starting to mount up again doesn't give him a free pass this time.

Casemiro + Eriksen/Mount + Bruno every 3/4 days for the next few weeks then? Tremendous. 😂

Yes, United were aware of his heart condition that goes back to Covid days, before they got him. As they were with Chris Eriksen.
