Was a good game. Maeda off it all game. AJ for most of it. Trusty still not convincing. Missing MOR's invention. Kuhn disappeared 2H. Scales probably motm? Idah offered little more than Kyogo.
Walsh did Nilson a huge favour waiting so long to book him then Thelin takes one for him after he's hooked.
However, overall good to see Dons with confidence take it to us and not scheidt it from playing out from the keeper. No superstars but everyone worked hard. Bears should worry.
Was probably a good game for a neutral-especially if you’re a bear! Thought we looked fairly comfortable at half time, then we just lost any control for a 10-15 minute period. Don’t know if the players thought the game was won, or had mentally moved onto the next game-whatever it was, it manifested itself into their play.
Quietest I’ve ever seen Maeda-should have been subbed earlier. As much as the stats weigh heavily in our favour, game could have gone either way. Haven’t seen any highlights, but read that the Duk decision was accurate. Haven’t seen much about what I thought was a defo handball at the game.
Ref let too many poor challenges go without proper sanction. Be interesting if that’s allowed to happen when they play der rangers.

From what I've seen of Aberdeen so far this year, they do play physical and often dirty and yes they do seem to be getting away with more than they should.
@CS I'd like to use what's in the OP as my predictions for this week

Disagree on Idah
As tribute meatloaf said 3 out of 5 ain't bad
I don’t think Idah is the man for a packed box. He’s not a lock pick. He’s not got dancing feet. He a fist. A big, brutal fist to burst through a shy, simpering backline. Powering his way, mercilessly, into my…what were we talking about?

It will be totally different against Rangers
Kyogo had a goal and assist yesterday.
Idah offered fvk all near that
Actually enjoyed that match yesterday despite the result
the most entertaining match weve had at home in theleague for a while but if we play that back 4 and that formation against atalanta it will be a record CL mauling I fear
RANGERS: Butland, Tavernier, Propper, Souttar, Jefte, Barron, Diomande, Lawrence, Bajrami, Cerny, Dessers.
SUBS: Kelly, Dowell, Kasanwirjo, Balogun, Igamane, Raskin, McCausland, Fraser, McKinnon.
I will not get to see the game today due to a power outage
Hopefully happy bears and bhoys moaning about biased refs and Killies being scheidt/laying down/as usual
Horrible day for a game of football. With any luck the game will be over before the worst of the rain hits, otherwise it could be a wash out.
Terrible news about Chris Hoy, was shocked to hear that this morning.

Sad news. There's no rhyme nor reason for that horrible disease.
It was one in four affected when I was young, now it's one in two.
BTTS
Over 40 booking points
Dresser to score
Tavernier to score a penalty
Proper to be booked
Donnelly to be booked

I think that's cause people are living longer, but in this case it's just pure awful luck for such a fit young person.
Apparently he has known for a year, everyone had thought he was in recovery because he was presenting at the Olympics and had been congratulating him. Must have been awful, although I'm sure he loved being there.

Well, glad Aberdeen didnt fold like Origami yesterday like they usually do, Thelin has installed a real fight amongst the team, playing decent football as well from what I have seen of them, to come back from 2 down away from home especially Celtic Park, will see in two games time where they are at with Dundee Utd and Rangers both at Pittodrie, win those two (even 4 points) and 2nd may be within reach
