My only issue is not making any effort to be involved with the ball and be there as a blocker so to speak ….people can go on about keepers being stronger or defenders getting in there but that’s not the point ….its not American football …..he is fouling the keeper

He wasn’t offside that’s a definite
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you watched the whole game you would have seen that Sa 'fouled' Bernardo several times during the previous 17 corners.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did he ? Or was he pushing Bernardo away as he was standing as a blocker ?

It was clear Bernardo’s role at every corner …..get in the way of the keeper

... also 3 Arsenal players 'offside'.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Were they offside... The ball was headed almost inline with the players although I agree 3 players deliberately blocking the keeper is BS

They're obviously mates and most of the pushing was quite light hearted.

The ref obviously looked at it as six of one, half a dozen of another apart from the time Bernardo stood on his foot and was duly penalised.

The header was straight at Sa but he flapped, obviously Sky weren't gong to pick up on that after just giving him MOTM.

But he was offside when the header came through and the keeper still had to think about the positioning of Bernardo. It's not like he can just forget he exists.

I'm amazed so many people see no issues with it, to be honest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Should every shot be disallowed if there is a player "offside" nowhere near the keeper? You're focusing too much on what happened before and letting it cloud your judgement on where Silva was and his impact arter the header. It's a difficult one to process due to human nature but everything before the Stones header doesn't exist

And if he hadn’t have pushed him away, then he’d have been considered still interfering with play.

It was poor defending by the wolves keeper and defenders. Thats why their initial reaction wasn’t to claim anything, it was despondency at conceding.

Nothing wrong with the goal as far as I’m concerned, if that had been Utd scoring and it was ruled offside I would’ve been annoyed.

If we conceded it wouldn’t of had any complaints apart from poor defending!

Can someone remind him about a certain Hwang who should have been sent off, only to stay on and scored the winner against us last year?

The handball vs Everton a few years ago is the one though. It’s stuff like that which leads to asterisk chat

It’s just so blatant

I could list about a dozen if these tbh but tye Wolves one wouldn’t be in it.

Still think that if you’re in the six yard box, you’re affecting play and that should be the rule, full stop.

If there is a decision to be made that can be argued either way, it almost always goes in City's favour. That's why these questions get asked.

Only by morons. It’s proven every year how that moniker is bollox, it’s just spouted by know nothings. I mean it you want to talk about reputations Boris… yours is that you’ll say absolutely anything in defence of City no matter how silly it makes you look.

The Rodri handball is just pure comedy and probably the worst reffing decision I’ve ever seen.

Anyone who thinks Akanji isn’t interfering with play there is a bit of a tลตat if we’re honest.
