Plenty of good reviews about Cunha’s performance at Brighton. When you take account of his goal, attempts at goal, setting up chances, winning duels and touches in the opposing penalty box, one stat site reckons it was the second most impressive set of attacking stats by any premier league attacking player in the last decade. Just one performance by Saka got more impressive stats.
Another player getting lots of praise is Hugo Bueno. He is now a regular for Feyenoord in both the Dutch league and the Champions League and he is doing well both defensively and going forward. At the weekend he got his third assist of the season

Ait Nouri, Gomes, Semedo and Toti have all accumulated 4 bookings so far this season and it looks pretty inevitable that all of them are on their way to suspension. To avoid getting a one game ban they would have to not get a yellow card in any if Wolves next ten games

Evidently, Real Madrid are seemingly joining Wolves in boycotting this years Ballon d’Or ceremony. 👍

The first 3 will all get another yellow before the end of November. The only thing which might save Toti is lack of game time.

Toti certainly hasn’t stepped forward this season and rarely looks comfortable on the ball. Disappointing after showing plenty of promise last season. Hopefully his time will come again. If we change to 4 at the back he is the obvious one to drop out unless he played left back and Ait Nouri played further forward.
Santi Bueno has shown encouraging form in recent games and could establish himself in the team if he keeps that going.

Wolves u21s have an International Cup game tonight at Kidderminster when they play Dynamo Zagreb. It’s their second game in this competition this season having already drawn 1-1 with Monaco. The game will be streamed live on Wolves tv at 19:00

Weather forecast for Kidderminster
Rather cloudy this evening with some patchy drizzle in places. Cloud thinning at times overnight, with light winds allowing for mist and fog patches to form readily under the clearest skies, though remaining overcast for most. Feeling a touch cooler. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Evidently Mount Fuji is still without snow, seemingly making it the latest time in the year the mountain has evidently remained bare since records began 130 years ago.

Sounds like an entertaining game at Kidderminster with Wolves U21s drawing 3-3 with Zagreb. Wolves equalised three times.
Pedro Lima started at right back but was carried off with an ankle injury

It hasn’t escaped the attention of Wolves fans that Pedro Goncalves, better known as Pote in Portugal, has been a huge success for Sporting Lisbon since Wolves sold him for just £1m. In 187 games with Sporting he has been involved in 137 goals either through scores or assists.
He has been linked with many teams in recent years and now the Sporting manager is being linked with the Man Utd job and speculation is that he may well want to take Pote with him if he goes. Pote’s release clause is set at £67m and Wolves do retain an interest because they agreed a 20% cut of any transfer profit
posted 2 weeks, 4 days ago
I'm sure most of us have forgotten about Conclaves. However, to your point, he was sold by Famalicão for 13.5m euros. If the deal was for a 20% sell on clause, then Wolves would have received 2.70m euros from his transfer to Sporting CP. I'm not exactly sure if any further transfers include the same 20%, as it might only apply to one transfer.
I mention this because when Sporting sold Ronaldo to Man Utd, they included a 12% sell on clause. He's been to Real Madrid, Juventus and back to United and is now in Saudi Arabia. All for huge amounts of money. So has Sporting received 12% from all those sales? I doubt it.
posted 2 weeks, 4 days ago
Evidently Wolves have a sell-on clause with Goncalves which is believed to be relevant for the player's next two moves after evidently leaving the club.

Please, please nooo.

Ahead of their game at Molineux on Saturday, injury problems for Palace. Two of their top players Eze and Wharton have both gone off injured in the first half hour of their Carabao Cup tie at Villa tonight

good win for them though, hopefully their injuries will mean a one game miss only!

Went to a beach front boozer tonight which was showing all the games, when Nunes scored my lad let out a massive boooo, which got some strange looks especially from the plastic koppites who were watching their game but I've rarely been more proud of him. More concerning perhaps this evening is the fact that he matched his dad pint for pint, and we had quite a few.
Funniest part of the evening was a bloke coming up to the bar and asking the staff "That telly owver there, can yow put the Villa on that won ploise?". He was told politely no, to my enormous satisfaction.

After going off injured last night, Palace look certain to be without both Eze and Wharton on Saturday which has to be a big blow for them. Eze has a hamstring injury and Wharton a groin injury he’s been struggling with for weeks.
We might all need an all inclusive break in the canaries if we don’t win this one
