You couldn’t blame him for moving on.
ETH is obsessed with shoe horning Rashford & Garnacho into the team.
He was utter garbage up in the Scottish Premiership. Far too weak for the most fast paced and physical league in the world.
Haven't really followed how he has been doing in the slower and less physical EPL but must be doing well if fans are wanting to keep him.

All I’ve seen since Thursday is everyone online saying Amad needs to leave. Chill the feck out guys.
First full season with the first team.
Had a decent start but not been incredible.
Garnacho and Rashford were always going to be first choice once the season was up and running.
He has plenty of time and will get plenty of opportunities.
Tough away game in Europe, playing two players with more experience than him on the wings was a sensible choice.
Everyone is so reactive and impatient in football these days, and social media etc doesn’t help one bit

I thought he should have played a lot more last season than he did. After doing pretty well early this season I think he was probably our best/most consistent wide attacker. I have no idea why he hast started any of our recent games. ETH is bonkers. And Maz staring as an AM blew my mind

Basically says he wants a lot more of what he gives. That is the problem in itself.
All the creative answers as to why he wasn't fired is just going to sound a lot more stupid when another manager is going to need to spend 200 million to bring in the same level of players we have let go for 20 million.

As a young player inherited by the manager, I’m not sure Amad has fully gained the managers trust which is understandable to a certain extent.
But, I think it’s totally obvious that he’s a much more versatile option to Antony on the right hand side. More direct.

The bald waste of space ruined the kid. Technically none of our wingers are better than him.

The fact that Antony is ahead of him is damning for ETH.

Minutes played this season (all comps):

Garnacho - 805
Amad - 542
Antony - 157

Perfect opportunity presented itself to play Rashford Garnacho and Amad with Bruno suspended. He chose to play a right back in the forward positions instead.
He's either a truly terrible manager or he's trying to get himself sacked so he gets his pay off. Can't wait for the cretin to be sent packing. It will be 12 months later than when it should have happend though.
INEOS are just as useless as he is too. So many bad decisions / PR disasters from them already too. The club truly is heading nowhere under this shared ownership model.

….
The flaw with this comment is that he chose to play Zirkzee and not Amad.
He had a great chance to play three in midfield, a proper three midfield players. Or even try three at the back and play 3-4-3.
The only thing I will say with regards to Amad is that he should never be behind Antony in the pecking order.

I wouldn't pick Zirkzee in our works team VC. Absolutely dross. The only Utd player I wrote off before he even kicked a ball. It was so so obvious he wasn't at the level we needed through his goal record or only getting in an average Dutch squad because of a few late withdrawals from injury.
Whoever sanctioned that signing should be sacked immediately.

No brainer.
Don't have much confidence in this new regime though if they think carrying on with Erik was a good idea and also Zirkzee is the standard we need to sign.
Your first full season you really want to make an impact with the supporters are we are heading for new levels of atrocious. This is NOT what we hoped we would be getting is it? If anything we are getting worse.

On Amad.
He stated off the season quite well and looked like he could claim the place on the right for himself.
Then he stopped attacking. He started doing this thing where he stood still with the ball and waved his left leg in circles. Nani used to do the same at the end of his United career.
When attackers become static or stop moving the ball it makes it really easy for opposing defences.

In more positive news....Chido has scored 2 in 5 minutes on his Utd academy debut. 😁
Already better than Zirkzee. 😂
