Nah it’s gonna happen with Son out and Odebert not fit enough to start yet
If he hadn’t of played the full match thursday he may have started but just don’t see it
How great was it to hear the Kane song changed to him….imagine being 17 and hearing that
I’m starting to feel sorry for Werner ……desperate for him to score ….he visibly shrank Thursday night
Moore is 17 years old and played 88 minutes on Thursday, he will be still be growing and needs to be managed properly to prevent potential injury problems down the line.
Moore should be on the bench for this game, i`m sure who starts if Son is out and Odobert is lacking match fitness, maybe stick Richarlison down the left, but it will probably be Werner.
Won't lose anything tbf.
Hopefully Odobert gets the nod anyway
I’d be shocked if Odebert starts but definitely want that
If Werner starts Odebert is next sub which limits moores game time
Think either way Werner will start at weekend or Wednesday unfortunately and not sure which I prefer. Probably rather him play Sunday as he might get a lot of one on ones to miss on the counter vs city
The manager has no name now then, some people and there agenda's

Wayne Rooney was playing regularly from age 16.
Thing is for me there are no “nothing games” so how do you play Timo to build up his confidence?
Maybe when we’re already 2/3 goals up? I dunno.
Timo’s had a fair few chances but I think Mikey has muscled his way ahead now.
Would not lose anything. I would expect Timo to start sadly. Ange obviously sees something we do not gotta respect that.
I am off the belief Timo will be in the regionnel leagues of Germany next season such is his drop off. The pace is the only thing he has he has no all round game and struggles to read the game. His mistakes/attempts are not confidence they are skill and have been present in his entire career. At 28 he is not miraculously gonna re-develop himself. If anyone wants some viewing South Korea against Germany 2018 World cup. Werner misses everything, misreads the game as if he is playing a different one same as he is doing for us.
Our problem is he is blocking Moore/Odobert. Let alone he is our highest earner barr Son (we rightly should be demanding more)
Confidence is a load of nonsense. Johnson yes, solanke yes very confidence orientated streaky players. Werner is not that and never has shown to be.
Play Ritchie on left he can play there . We would have a good physical presence up front with him and solanke .
You need that against palace especially at there place
Richy first half, Mikey second?
#Rotation
I would be astonished if Werner starts at Palace. Ange has plenty of options. Personally I think Mickey Moore will get his Prem debut, although Ange could also start Richarlison.
Ange did the same at Celtic. Signed Maeda - fast as fvck, incredible engine but can't control a football. You lot would be as well with him as Werner. Not a huge difference in value according to tm. Ange used him as a disruptor and presser yet can get back and power through a ton of work which is needed some games.
I wouldn’t lose any sh*t at all as it’s the right choice.
As great as Moore looks he is going only 17 and we shouldn’t rush him into anything. Similarly Odebert is likely unable to play a full 90.
I think the smart option would be to have Werner on for the first 45 and then Moore/Odebert for the remaining game.
It’s all about physical readiness.
Similarly I’d be happy with Richie to start but don’t know how ready he is yet
I might have a grumble because naturally it's Werner and he's rubbish, but before the game is not the time to lose your sh*t, that would be after the game if we lose/don't win it and Werner fails to have an impact.

I think Moore will be Plan B on Sunday 😂

I don't see how he can start Werner. He looks completely gone to me. His head isn't right to start a Prem game and there's only so many chances he can miss before Ange takes him out of the firing line.
Moore is a kid, sure, but like others have said, so was Rooney, Giggs, Sharpe and many others. Playing Thursday/Sunday once isn't going to hurt him. He's young. His powers of recovery will be so much better than the older lads. I wouldn't mind betting he'd play today if he could.

“We are talking to Timo constantly,” the former Celtic boss said ahead of Sunday's trip to Selhurst Park.
“We understand he is lacking some confidence at the moment and everyone has been working hard at that, but with all these things, ultimately it’s incumbent on him to use as much support he’s got around here to get himself out of it.
“Our role in that is to provide that support whether that’s internally or externally, whatever he needs.
“Obviously it’s then up to him to try to use that to get him back to the levels where he wants to be and where he can contribute for us.
“Like I said, with all the players what we try to do is provide an environment where should they need help, it’s readily available.
“We do need output and that’s the key part. Obviously when Mikey was on with Brennan (Johnson), we were a threat on both wings and we were getting outcomes from it.
“We didn’t score but three or four really good chances came from it and we need that to happen with the way we play.
“Whilst the general play is important and Timo has done well, we still need more in that front third and we got it in the second half.”

He is not our player, any time and resource used to build him up at the expense of one of our players is a complete waste.
I always thought he would be a good late sub against tired legs when we signed him. I was even wrong about that.

I don't agree that it's a waste - if it's a few hours a week working on finishing with one of the coaches to get him scoring that's fine. But from the sound of those quotes Ange is running out of patience.
It's tough cos you don't want to heap too much on Moore at his age while not starting a player who's in bad form. Richarlison or Odobert to start would be the pragmatic thing to do
