How can you blame the manager for Dalot blazing over with an open goal from a few yards out?
How can you blame the manager for that ridiculous penalty call?
Please explain
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We are 14th mate and have won one game in our last 8 matches. We've scored 7 PL goals all season which is the second fewest. Maybe fans aren't basing it all on one game, eh?
All these bad luck excuses are just pathetic at this point.

Norgaard is a midtable lump, we don’t need anymore of those.
Frank’s an interesting one, done a fantastic job with Brentford, but not sure how well he’d do at a club the size of United. And I don’t think he’d just up sticks from Brentford half way through the season either.
At this stage, it’s become clear that ETH is the interim coach. Unless there’s someone available that the club really think is the right man for the job, I think they’ll end up waiting it out until the summer rather than getting another interim.
Yet another season that's a write-off.

Are you implying that the fans’ angry reaction is based solely on today’s result? If so, then how is life on Pluto? because you don’t seem to have been living on earth since the start of the season.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we get Moyes Allegri in
How do you explain his decision to bench his most creative player, the player of the month of August, after one, just one average game? And how about giving Bruno 90 minutes every game no matter how terrible he plays?
……..
None of that had a bearing on us missing a good half a dozen clear cut chances and an appalling VAR decision today.
I am not even a Bruno fan but he should have had a goal and two assists before half time.
Have another go.

You don’t see it yet? Ok, the accumulation of terrible decisions, added to his stubbornness, his resentment and his revolting favoritism made today’s result the drop that spilled the glass.
LOL... Nobody thinks TH should be sacked on today's result.
But over the last 2.5 years, there is a strong case tha hes done enough to deserve it. And things are getting rapdily worse,
At this stage, it’s become clear that ETH is the interim coach. Unless there’s someone available that the club really think is the right man for the job, I think they’ll end up waiting it out until the summer rather than getting another interim.
-------------------
Yeah, this is it. Assuming they've got a target who isn't available until the summer - their options are to:
1) Sack Ten Hag and appoint an interim (history tells us that doesn't always make much of a difference overall, bar Ole's bounce).
2) Sack Ten Hag and appoint a permanent coach who isn't your first options.
3) Keep Ten Hag until the summer.
1 and 3 are the only viable options imo - 2 risks setting us back in the longer term. And tbh I'm not really bothered which of 1 and 3 they go for, I honestly don't think it makes much difference.
We all know he won't be here next season, but it looks like we'll be having to suck up another season of pain unfortunately.
Since the first couple of weeks of September we’ve won one game. And in the next few weeks we play Chelsea, City and Arsenal amongst others.
But we missed chances today so Ten Hag should stay 🫤

But if Ten Hag prevents United getting in a relegation scrap and wins a domestic cup, they will probably extend his contract again. So its not obvious he's interim.

I think the pain could be even longer if their transfer policy is anything to go by. It looks like they want to put trust in younger players developing into top players, and I’m not sure if that’s a sensible policy for a club like United, as the last two seasons have shown.
But if Ten Hag prevents United getting in a relegation scrap and wins a domestic cup, they will probably extend his contract again
-----------
They probably won't, though.
Though I suppose it’s worth considering what influence the Glazers will have if things really do start to drift. They’re still the major shareholders and they’ve always had CL as a target. They could put pressure on the upper management to change tack.
