Another manager not going all out to win something
What’s the point in rotating like this, getting knocked out of every cup and still finishing 5th-9th anyway?? I don’t get it. We aren’t getting top 4 or winning the title are we. And even if we did get top4 , we aren’t winning that either. We do however have a realistic chance of winning one of the cups !!

Just put out the strongest team and hope for the best. We should be a strong enough team to be able to beat City in a domestic cup game at home in an earlier round when they will be resting players.

Instead we got cheaper options like of Odebert and re-signed Werner. But yeah, sack the manager.

Would signing Eze and Gallagher have made our defence any less leaky?
Anyway, a manager is not going to be able to get all of the players he wants. And even without them he's spent a lot and we ought to be doing better. Can you imagine how much he'd have spent altogether if we had signed those 2 as well?
I'm not advocating for him to be sacked but I don't think not signing these players is too much of an excuse for him.

I'm not gonna keep writing comments in defence of Ange, but the point is that he (as with previous managers) is restricted by the club's lack of ambition. I mean, who in their right mind thought that re-signing Werner was a good idea? Who thought that signing players from the Championship would elevate us to PL contenders? Levy and the bean counters, that's who.
I just think calling the manager a "cvnt" and calling for his head at this stage is pathetic.

I would say he's been less restricted than previous managers. Look how much money he has spent already. He's less restricted than Poch was when Poch had to deal with the upheaval of the new stadium.
We've since completed the new stadium and Ange has thrown a lot of money at players, many were ones he wanted. Now whether he wanted players like Odobert and Werner is another matter. But did he think he was just going to spend hundreds of millions each window at Spurs going after his primary targets? Would have been hugely naive if he did and there are other clubs showing it doesn't need to be done either.
Calling for his head at this stage, I'm not quite in agreement with it but if people think he's no longer the man for us I can understand it. The form over a long period now has not been good enough.

We have lost 4 games out of 9 in the league so far this season, 1 against our big rivals (at home) and then Palace, Brighton and Newcastle. We still have alot of tough away games to come where inevitable losses are waiting.
We can argue about player quality all we want, but we have better teams than Palace, Brighton and Newcastle. These losses relate to our coach IMO.
We've won 4 games, let's not forget that. But I'd argue they were against teams we should be beating. But I get results don't always follow quality (on paper).
IMO Ange should be under pressure. He isn't improving the results or any players (maybe Kulu and BJ excluded). He doesn't play attractive football as much as we are lead to believe. There is limited to no improvement since he joined us. Infact, we have got worse.
I want Ange to succeed but I just don't see it. We could win today but lose Sunday. Any win is always followed by a very quick loss down the road. Inconsistency is our philosophy now.

Time will tell whose right or wrong and maybe the improvement I think I'm seeing is an apparition.
Everyone says it's a results business, but then go on to dismiss 7 wins out of the last 9 games as irrelevant!
A couple of the losses we suffered this season so far were unlucky as we were by far the better team (i.e. vs. Newcastle and to a lesser extent vs Arsenal). We were by far the better team against Leicester and we all know how the wheels fell off in the second half against Brighton.
If we had lost 7 out of 9 I would definitely be saying the manager should go
