Anybody else get the stream with the Plymouth commentators today?

After only 10 minutes, they were going on about how well Plymouth had played and that they might be able to hold on for a good 0-0 and a point.

They then said that it was good that Plymouth were keeping us limited to long range shots just before Dan James scored his screamer.

Then one bright spark said that they were still defending well and they were still in the game, they were defending well and we weren't going to tear them to shreds. Eight minutes later it was 3-0. It was hilarious!

A bit harsh, he's trying his best, plus they drew the 2nd half 0-0 so he must have said something good at half time to his lads. Some people are just biased against Rooney and it's not fair. In fact he's a very shy man. Still we were good. Annoying that Sheff.u won.

Completely agree. Came from a very working class background, the scouse accent doesnt help to come across as elegant, and wasnt very well educated.

Yet from age of 17, has been one of the most famous people in Britain, constanly pushed infront of the media, when obvious it was far from natural for him to talk infront of people.

Talks alot better now, really should be held up as what people can achieve in life, and should be an inspiration for the working class.

He’s filthy rich, yet is still willing to move away from his family, to try to make his way in mangement, could make alot more money talking garbage on super sunday everyweek.

I actually like Wayne Rooney as a fella, comes across as a genuine humble guy..

Don’t think he’s got a manager’s quality tho there’s something missing.. I read above he’s a bit big a shy guy and from what I’ve seen on TV I have to agree.. not saying that’s a particularly bad quality to have, but I’d be really surprised if Rooney becomes a top class manager like he was a player.

Agree to a point… it’s refreshing to see a self made man so humble in his manner etc.

But let’s forget he’s made his money through being a world class footballer, I’d imagine all or most footballers come from humble backgrounds… and that’s not realistically achievable for most
