Just to add to the point, here are Milwall's highlights against Burnley. They look a lot better than they did last year.

This is the crux of the matter - we need 15 or 20 chances to score a goal, but our opposition, when they get four or five chances, they put one away. Unfortunately, Meslier is our Achilles heel. Burnley at home is the blueprint for how to beat us. Until we find that ruthlessness, that desire to demolish teams, our opponents will always believe that if they hold out long enough, they will get the chance and score.

I feel we are the best side in this league & SHOULD finish top two BUT let's not get too carried away.

At certain srages last season I felt exactly the same. We looked unstoppable. BUT ultimately we came unstuck.

Let's keep our feet on the ground. Wednesday will be a tough challenge, it's no news that Harris hates us but to actually call the Burnley game a "warm-up" for us was a little surprising, even for him. The neanderthals will be well up for it & if we're not it could be a long night.

Overall the elephant in the room is still Meslier. He's why we're not top already.

never read such rubbish, totally blinkered.

need 15 chances to score? - we had 14/15 shots on Saturday and scored 3 of them for a start

Ruthlessness? - ffs... second in the league this time, last season we won 15 odd games in a row, how (realistically) much more ruthless do you want?

you are aware that theres usually two teams on the pitch, both trying to win the game right?

such a blinkered view farkeness...

just curious, who you think is the most ruthless team in the English leagues?

you're not allowed to say City Farkeness, cos they're 2nd in their league, and Bournemouth now have the blueprint on how to beat them.

For what its worth i thought i would just mention that like Don Revie who thought the same we as a team are cursed. Now more than ever i believe this to be true. If s4it is gonna happen it will happen to us no matter what. I see nothing else to explain the bad luck and experiences this club has went through over the years and we still seem to get jinxed just when we think things have changed and we turn the corner. Its a cross we as a club and supporters seem to have to bear

Nobody is seriously saying were cursed 🤣🤣🤣

The most blatant penalty I’ve seen all season!

———————————-

First game youve watched this season ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I watch lots of games and this one is the worst I’ve seen.

Is that clear enough?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well it isnt that clear. Its gone from being the most blatant youve seen to one of the most blantant. So what is it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Personally thought it was a penalty but can see why it wasnt that given.

And literally everyone seems to think the same apart from you 🤷🏻‍♂️

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can you actually read what people write?

I said it was the most blatant penalty I’ve seen all season and that I watch lots of games and this is one of the worst I’ve seen.

Do I really have to clarify that I’ve been watching games for fifty years plus?

Most blantant

Yet

Ref in perfect position, VAR decided it doesnt need to ne checked, half of pundits didnt think it was, and half of people on dont think it was.

If it was blantant, virtually everyone would agree it was a pen.
