Though I am no great fan of Meslier and can embellish your list of criticisms, last nights goal was not his fault, it's hard to see what he personally could have done to prevent it.
Whilst am not his biggest fan, he’s a miles better keeper than Darlow.
We’ve conceded just nine goals
two pens ( the norwich, from behind the goal looks completely different)
One worldie( portsmouth)
one he could and probably should have saved (portsmouth)
One no chance (burnley)
One sunderland, where he made an unbelievable save to tip on post
One sunderland, absolute disgrace
One watford, agree went down too earlier, but bigger mistakes were before from defending
No chance with the one last night.
We havent conceded a headed goal all season, no goals from corners either.
Could do we do better, yeah, but you can say same about everyone of our players.
I think sub consciously alot of people, because of thr sunderland mistake, are looking for a scapegoat now.
Surely this means two thirds don't become goals....
Just sayin' though
I think the one thing in our favour is apart from the odd high ball into the box we dont look like conceding.
Always stings to lose any game and against Harris and Millwall even more so but tbf to Harris he was surprisingly very complimentary about us but as for Meslier I think we're all in agreement that his ratio of goals conceded to shots faced is shocking and doesn't look like ever improving but thankfully our back line is good enough to restrict the opposition most games to very few guilt edged chances so Meslier will undoubtedly retain his place for the rest of the season unless we bring in a new number one in January but I'll be surprised if we do and so I think we'll plod on as we are and if promoted or not I think Meslier's time at Leeds will come to an end.
It's far from just this season Meslier has been a problem. He was so bad at the back end of our last Premiership stint even Allardyce saw fit to drop him.
The goal last night wasn't his fault mind. That was all round poor defending.
At last more people are coming to the same conclusion as me .Meslier is definitely a weak link .We would be comfortably winning the championship with a better keeper.A good keeper is a must to get promoted. We will struggle all season with him our number 1.

How many points you think he’s cost us
2, maybe 4 the maximum.
Have opinions by all means, but lets not start making things up 🤣
Think we could use a fresh face between the sticks. He just has a negative persona/hoodoo over him ala 2 x championship bottlers, relegated in which he was dropped and survived by the skin of our teeth the season before. He just reminds me of too many poor campaigns.
Having said that, he's still steady and we've had way worse in goal. Think we have bigger issues to sort out than the keeper situation.
Find strange how Mes cops it. Life of a keeper I guess.
I'd accept the criticism (okay the howler against Sunderland was horrible) where due .... but how about the opportunities in front of goal that are harder to miss?
There was some real poor options by forward players last night - yet this morning we're posting about Ilian? Had no chance with the goal. All puzzling.

Some right weirdos on here, absolutely clueless.
I dont agree with best, but I do understand his view.
Its the constant made up things 🤣🤣🤣
We dont close out games - yet win nearly everytime we go infront
We’d be miles clear if we had decent keeper - it literally is impossible for any keeper to have put any more than 4 points on our total.
We need 20 chances to score
Need a warrior - wtf 🤷🏻♂️
Defence isnt good - look at shots again.
The really weird thing, they believe all these things

Meslier's a freak. Gangly, extremely tall. Not very agile.
Not very athletic. Moves like a canal barge at times.
Is he good enough for a top 6 team (which we are)?
Yes. Is he a difference maker? No. He's serviceable.
For me, Meslier falls into the same camp as Bamford.
And Farke. All three have been found out.
LIW calling people clueless yet thinks we're gonna win the league with 100 points and go unbeaten 😅
You have to laugh at the meltdown on here following a bad result. People expect us to steamroll every team in the league. Even Man City don't do that.
Whys Meslier getting pelts? He wasnt at fault last night! Whats Bamford got to do with anything🤣
We will lose the odd game. So will everyone else whos challenging.

What really hurts is the way we lose. That second half against Milwall was a tragedy. We had 73% possession in the game and mustered just four shots on target out of 17. All of our shots were straight at the keeper. They had one clear shot at goal and scored. It was Burnley all over again. Aaronson, Gnonto and Pirou missed presentable chances. Meslier concedes one in three of the shots he faces. Worst of all, we are boring to watch. Anyone who thinks Farke is the answer are probably asking the wrong question, because with the quality we have, we should be ripping this league apart.
I think that Stoke keeper looks okay. Don't think we need to consider a new keeper until next season though. Think we should be giving Joseph more starts. We miss Largie but Solomon and James are only just back from injury

I take your point, Outwood, but the meltdowns after our defeats are no more out of proportion than the overreactions by most when we achieve a win. Optimism is all very well but you’d think that after a home win against a really poor (and currently 3rd from bottom) Plymouth last week, the title was all but ours. The reality, of course, is somewhere between the two viewpoints. My own opinion is that we will achieve auto promotion but not as easily as most seem to think. And my biggest gripe is that with the squad we have, our performances should be much more convincing and consistent than they are.
A major frustration for me is that when things aren’t going to plan on the pitch, the nature and timing of our substitutions suggest that our manager doesn’t know how to rectify situations. I believe he’ll get us promoted but a new manager will then be needed.
Turning our attention to the present, we’ll need all our wile to get 3pts against another tricky London side on Saturday.
His substitutions and timings are bad i admit that.
Our away trips to London never seem to work out well.
As always the same people get the blame. If it’s not Bamford it’s Meslier. Last season it was Firpo too.
Look - this team isn’t perfect. The manager isn’t perfect. The whole of the division is exactly the same though. Top teams are dropping points and will continue to do so. We just have to keep working hard and hopefully the points will stack up enough for top two.
I’ve certainly not seen any team outplay us apart from Middlesbrough in the cup.
As I say, no Meslier's biggest fan, but last night, saved the two shots you'd expect a decent keeper to make beaten by the one shot that it would be dis ingenuine of us to blame of people to blame him for.
Wrong time to write this article surely, give him grief when he he's had a howler.

God, I'm virtually illiterate sometimes but you get my point.
Just looking at the highlights from last night and I think their goal should have been chalked off.
Millwall have a player yards offside blocking Meslier’s view of the ball completely.
Sheet happens I guess but I never noticed it after a few beers last night.
