When Biden got in, the American working class was living paycheck to paycheck, using quick credit to pay the bills.

Four years later and the American working class is living paycheck to paycheck, using quick credit to pay the bills.

Meanwhile, the top 0.1% of Americans control almost the same amount of wealth as the bottom 90%. And that share of the wealth in the hands of the few is increasing.

The Democrats have betrayed the working class, done little for the middle class, and here we are.

For me, most of the facts - not all of them, but most of them - favour the dems. The difference is that the dems screwed up royally in delivering that message to the majority of America by comparison to Trump and Vance's lies.

Economies in every country across the world have struggled in the post-Covid years.

Causing untold misery and anger among their populations.

The past 2 years have seen pretty much every low-to-middle income country, from Argentina to Ethiopia, crawl back to the IMF for one of their brutal "Structural Adjustment Programmes."

The OECD economies haven't done particularly well either.

Resulting in unprecedented political upheavals over the past couple of years in countries that hold elections. And violent uprisings in less democratic states.

Long standing governing parties in places like Botswana and Britain have been kicked out. De facto one-party states like South Africa and India have seen their ruling majorities narrowed.

Right-leaning countries have shifted left. Left-leaning countries have shifted right.

There's been at least 7 military coups across Africa in less than 24 months.

Even the usually pliant Chinese public have forced their government into unprecedented cash stimuli to bring the noise down.

I work at my company's Africa office. The new government that rode a wave of support only a couple of years ago is already on borrowed time. With violent street protests almost grinding the economy to a halt between April and June.

Nothing about the US election is particularly unique. The whole planet is angry with their own leaders.

All being done by design, it’s not a coincidence it’s happening in many countries around the world as you’ve said. People need to see it and change it. Why are most just sitting back and putting up with whatever substandard leadership or election candidates that have clearly shown they do not have the people’s interest in mind? The world’s in a mess, nothing new there but these leaders are more corrupt and hell bent on destroying people’s lives than we’ve ever seen.
