Yeah, I don't think RAN is playing terribly, certainly not his best of course but also like you say, he isn't playing a classic wing back role at the moment and it looks pretty disjointed a times in this weird hybrid formation we are going with.
Good to see Labour have got the trains running well again hctl, you'd never have managed that under the Tories
RAN has played poorly the last couple of games. Don’t think the system is to blame for him misplacing passes and regularly losing the ball. He will come good again

I thought RAN did quite a bit of good stuff, he did make errors but he is playing in a different position more infield at times , we were better in second half and Cunha easily the best player on the pitch, Leminha off form maybe we should drop him and include Andre not like for like I know not sure I would start Sarabia , good journey back to Kent , Stafford flier to Euston and good connection from London Bridge home 8-40 pm a record

True fan, well done HCL.
Wish I was younger and able to join you.
Good win, but still fearful for the future as Southampton are very poor.
I wish I was younger too! it’s a social day as well as travel from London with friends and beers are consumed
Not a thriller yesterday but after saying in Friday that I didn’t care how poor a game it was as long as we win, it would be hypocritical to say different now.
Southampton base their game in retaining possession and given how little they created I don’t think Wolves were concerned how much of the ball they had. Wolves to me always looked the more likely team to score.
Third week running GON had sad in his press conference that Johnstone was fit and available then didn’t even name him in the squad. As it turned out Sa gad a teallly quiet game and I think he’s the better keeper anyway.
All the back line did well on the day particularly Toti. He showed plenty of promise last season but hasn’t been good this season. But this was his best game so far this season.
In midfield I think Joao is right back to his best again while Lemina played well in the second half against Palace but was no better than ok yesterday. Still think we have an outstanding player in Andre that we aren’t using at the moment.
Up front Sarabia took his goal really well and no questioning his ability. But he just doesn’t do enough and probably isn’t suited to the British game. Bellegarde was a big improvement in the second half and worked his socks off. With Saints having much of the ball, Larsen didn’t get into the game much but I think he’s been a good addition and would be one of the first on the team sheet for me. Cunha meanwhile is the first name in the teamsheet. Excellent goal and assist yesterday and virtually every worthwhile attack we produce involves him.
We are one of the four teams unbeaten in the last three games.
Is the tide turning?
Cunha is quality and critical to our survival. Lose him and we are likely doomed.

Bloody Spurs ffs

Doctor Tottenham will see you now…..
Good job we won yesterday otherwise we’d have been 5 points adrift of safety, as it stands just 2
Pedro Neto just scored a 30 yarder. His first goal for Chelsea. Love Neto, hate Chelsea.
Neto, Neves, Jota, Kilman,
What could have been…….
Sa
Semedo Kilman Collins RAN
Neves Joao Gomes
Neto Cunha Jota
Raul
Not so sure about Collins. Think we could, and have, improved on him. How about having Andre, Lemina, Doyle and Adama on the bench?
and while we're about it Steve Bull could squeeze into the side.

You've started something now WO. Surely John Richards can't be on the bench.
Not sure I’d want Semedo and RAN as our full backs in a back 4. Before his injuries I thought Jonny was better than both of them
Doog was a childhood hero of mine, but with Cunha, Richards and Bull Doog may have to be a backup.
Doog was a fantastic player. He is remembered most for his partnership with Richards but no coincidence that Bobby Gould and Hugh Curran both had the best seasons of their career playing alongside Doog before Richards emerged
