Well a disappointing end result considering all the pressure we had.

I felt we huffed and puffed - plenty of effort but the longer the game went on the less likely it was we'd score a 2nd. Fair play to Plymouth, they defended well and hoped to catch us on the break. The free kick they scored from didn't look a free kick to me, so another example of us losing points to debatable decisions.
I thought Philips deputised well for Cash and as much as I love Ebou his passing at times is wasteful.
Tommo rightly MOM, followed by Ebou (despite his passing). Special mention for Jerry Yates for a cracking goal ... and what would have been a brilliant goal from the halfway line. He's the only player looking like scoring atm.
I genuinely feel Brown would benefit from a loan to a
L1/L2 team and for me isn't yet good enough for the Champ...and would much prefer Collo...anyway that's it. Cheers. Terry in Spain 🇪🇸 UTR

Oh well. We should have been well out of sight after 20 minutes. Their goal was a fluke but I suppose we benefitted similarly from a deflection on Wednesday so them’s the breaks. At 1-1 I thought it was crying out for CBT on the left to run at their full back. Warne said he considered doing that with the switch to 3 at the back but chose Osborn instead who to be fair did well. The crossing was generally very poor though, especially from the right. Maybe CBT could have replaced Jackson on that side instead.

Probably it would have made no difference and it was just one of those frustrating days when we failed to put away an inferior team. After the international break the squad should look much stronger, especially in midfield where we might have Ozoh and Chirewa returning and with Tommo playing so well. Only up front do we look short of what’s required.

Yesterdays game has given me flashbacks from Cheltenham away last season. 😭

No comparison Scouse. I thought we played decent stuff yesterday. Cheltenham last season was proper awful.

I wonder if Harry Wilson fancies moving to Derbyshire in January?

I meant more the real disappointment of the result given the quality of the opposition vidal.

Thanks Heb there were 12 of us and we had a great time. The trains were on time and comfortable, the match was great and the Aussies deserved to win. England need a decent coach, the current one had taken too many kicks to the head.

And talking about heads.....mine hurts a bit, too much excellent London Pride, my favourite.

Ang I haven't got TNT and tried to get a spurious link. I managed to get my card hacked foolishly trying to pay. New card next week.
