I'd be ok if the board are already drawing up names to discuss for who to replace Ange with.

Lol you really want to give Levy another opportunity to ruin another manager's career?

I dispair at the dumb nature of some of you. Fixing Spurs is not going to happen overnight.

Under Ange when we are good, we are very good. I trust him in the long run to get it right but fans need to be more patient.

And before some rat pipes up with 20 years of failure, we have had about 20 managers in the time so clearly sacking manager after manager is not the answer.

Once Ange has a proper squad capable of competing with the top 3 we will be ok.

We have brought alot of young players and will take them time to grow plus we need new additions.

Stop being so fecking trigger happy.

We don't have a choice about Levy making a choice though. We can only hope with Levy that he flukes appointing a good manager. Many would argue he hasn't done that with Ange.

You can talk about it being very good when it's good under Ange but it hasn't been good enough to show any real progression. No momentum is being built. We play well and beat West Ham convincingly only to not show up for Palace. Play well against City and Villa only to no show up for Ipswich. If you can't build any consistency then what is the point?

Would you actually say that Ange has done well this season so far cause it's one of our worst starts statistically in recent times.

He is just stating the bleeding obvious, but responsibility shouldn't come without consequences.

I think the length of his contract may be an issue

Unless things get ridiculous (out of all cups, bottom half of the league by a distance etc) I think Ange will see the season out at a minimum.

I've been leaning towards getting rid of him for the majority of the season but I can't see the benefit in any major change right away.

We'll continue with on/off results for the remainder of the season. Can't imagine we'll win a cup because we'll throw in one of our atrocious performances at some point in each competition.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So what would be the point of keeping him if all you said comes true?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Things could get worse if we change.

-----------
He is sticking to his guns and playing front foot football. We have dominated some of the games we have lost.

It's not as bad as some of you make out it is. The players are still with him. Some are still young and developing. 3rd youngest squad in the league remember.

Relax.

Did we bottle paying slot’s release clause or did he just dodge working with levy because he saw it’s impossible?

2.5 years left. He has two more windows before next season. We have four spots which need reinforcing.

Arne Slot chose to remain at Feyenoord instead of joining Tottenham Hotspur for a number of reasons, including: Playing in the Champions League, Working with the staff and players, Enjoying his private life, and Building on the previous two seasons.

Slot stated in a media statement that these were the decisive factors in his decision.

Nice try but you are wrong again on all counts.

Maybe go support Brighton with your son?

You act as if we shouldn't be bothered that we just lost to Ipswich at home. It's a terrible result under the circumstances. I think it's right that Ange should be under pressure. We're just looking for some consistency now and there doesn't appear to be any.

First ten games aside, isn’t your league position under Ange about 9th?

Arne Slot chose to remain at Feyenoord instead of joining Tottenham Hotspur for a number of reasons, including: Performance enhancing drugs, bribery of officials, backhanders, I making all PL decisions, and cheating.

Interesting

I am bothered but I also knew games after Thursday would be tough. We didn't play in Europe last season and I have stated before there would be bumps in the road.

When you factor in the age of the squad, the workload of games, the positions he was left short in, it was never going to be a plain sailing season.

But as I said before I have seen enough to know when we do get a better right winger for example we will do better. Still under decided about Solanke but I appreciate his work rate. Werner balloning balls over the bar helps no one as well.

We have to give this guy the right players and more importanty - time.

There are some right whinging phannies on this thread and at your club

I get that losing is frustrating, I get that you haven’t won much over the last 20 years, and I get you lot are desperate for success (aren’t we all)

But seriously the merry-go-round of sacking a manager when he has a bad run just to appease the frustration is pointless and destructive

The guy has a proven track record, albeit in a different league - but you seen with your own eyes, when he gets it right, you’re a force to be reckoned with

Surely sticking with the guy and giving him a bit of time is the sensible thing to do

But hey, like with most teams and most supporters, you can’t please everyone 🤔

Trust me, you lot have it better than most - some of you need a bit of perspective 👍🏼

I said I'd take Potter, wouldn't be my first choice.

But at least he coaches, I hear Ange takes the Brian Clough approach of leaving all that stuff to other coaches and he swans in later.

Also, take a look, it wasn't just me

I think you missed the point.

Ange cannot, or shouldn't be mentioned in the same paragraph as Clough, but he obviously had good coaches and judgement.

These players are getting worse, we need a head coach, not a wanna be manager
