The funny thing is, Ange said “we are inconsistent, that’s for me to fix” well hasn’t he noticed but we’ve been inconsistent for a whole fecking year mate!! He can’t sort it because he hasn’t in 12 months
Get rid now and hope the new manager bounce can at least get us to the Carabao final

Agree with a few of your points.

But one that I don’t is on Bentancur. He was of our few players that takes responsibility. And doesn’t shirk a tackle.

Perhaps I was a bit harsh on Bentancur. Just I feel a bit more steel is needed in midfield. I like him as a player, just that I never see him completely busting a gut. Probably just the way he plays.

Well said OP. On yesterday's showing alone he deserves to be shown the door. I've stood by him up to now trusting him to get it right but on the evidence of yesterday frankly lost patience. Couldn't see anything other than a comfortable win but what do I know

I don't think he's ever been sacked before (I might be wrong) but it's difficult to see it ending any other way.

PS......you'll walk all over Rangers in the Europa......they are abysmal but somehow grinding out results in Europe. Lack of money to sack him is the only thing keeping Clement in a job. (Celtic & formerly an Ange fan)

Well Sandy's analysis of Spurs and the Prem whereby every team except Liverpool is crap.....raises the question......
Is the Premier league the best football competition in the world?
Or in Europe?

Gents, I don't want to give the players a pass, but the way they are being set up to play hampers them.

We flood the midfield with defenders who should be defending leaving no room for the creative players.

Most of the time it is our fullbacks on the ball in central midfield. Udogie has been convinced he is a modern day Pirlo.

This is not a bad group of players, but they are being led very badly.

Reminds me of a WW2 squad who in the end, had to have their officer have an accident to save everyone getting killed.

Brennan is our version of Sterling, if he times his runs he'll score a few at the back post because of speed, he can't really dribble or cross, but could be useful if used correctly.

At this point I would place Biss as the six and build around. Madders or Kulu, if not working swap on 60 minutes.

Also, sit down and work out tactics to supply our forward

Lets give Ipswich some credit, theyrw not the worse team to have played in the prem far from it. Some of that defending though, Johnson backing out to let the guy have a free overhead kick. Bentancur was One of few showing some fighr. Solanke missed a golden chance as he facked it up and hit it onto his arm? So not sure hes not getting service? He also forced a few saves?

Sandy as u said u were optimistic last week and said you are Ange in. This article says you expect him to be sacked, but do you WANT him sacked? Are u in or out?

What? Bentancur is a sideways passing merchant and a massive p*ssy who goes missing and constantly gives the ball away in dangerous areas.

Before even the first goal, they were playing better than us. They were playing out from the back and beating our press ffs, and also comfortably defending in that first half. Absolute disgrace from our team. Ipswich fully deserved the win and could have had a goal more

McKenna is a good coach/manager no doubt about that. We played them the opening day and felt then they’d cause some teams issues throughout the season. He comes across pragmatic so expected them to learn and improve as the season went on.

I have to disagree. Sounds like you’re talking more about Maddison. Shirks tackles, goes missing and pops up with a handful of memorable moments throughout a season.

I don't particularly want him sacked, but it will be inevitable over the coming weeks and the fixtures coming up. At the end of the day it's a results business, and managers live and die by that. I was on Pochettino's case with similar results, so would be hypocritical to not say Ange will go the same way unless results improve, which this side of Xmas would take a miracle to improve.

I think (and have done for some time) that our current group of players are the most hit and miss collection ever assembled.

No confidence is ever taken from a good performance and we can bounce back anytime from a diabolical showing.

This is also true within the parameters of any match itself, look at the contrast in 45 mins we showed in the Brighton, West Ham, Villa games.

The manager always carries the can but trying to get this lot to obey instructions must be like herding cats.

I said when he was appointed it's a joke appointment, i could manage Celtic to win the SPL whilst still doing my full time job. He seems out of ideas as did the players saturday'.

So you're saying that the problems are entirely to do with the players and manager? Really? Is Levy not even remotely in your thinking here?

Something has really got to change here because time and time again we fail and the scapegoat is always the one standing on the touchline and not the one counting his pennies in the stand. As a fan base we rejoice when a poor manager gets the sack, optimism returns as a new man comes in and two years down the line we're back where we started. Too many have failed here for it to be down to the manager.

Our lack of success is down to one man and one man only - Daniel Levy. We wanted Raya but Levy wanted to lower the wage bill so he brought in Vic. Ange wanted Eze or Neto but Levy wanted to lower the wage bill so we got in Odobert. You see what's going on here? Ignore fees. It's not about that. We can compete with the top clubs on that front but we can't, or won't, for player wages, which stops us getting any big name player in.

I'm sorry, but as much as I'm sick of the open football and Ange takes some responsibility for that, despite what I said yesterday, I'm just not on board with sacking him because that gets the real culprit off scott free. I'm sick to death of this managerial search for a diamond that can do miracles on a budget. These owners need to sell up fast and stop making our lives a feckin misery. They're to blame for every last shred of failure in the last 20 years. Blaming the manager lets them off the hook.

posted 1 week, 6 days ago

At this stage, give me blood money from the middle east over Levy and his tight-fisted cronies. I don't care any more.

posted 1 week, 6 days ago

We can blame Levy and Ange all we like (although obviously neither is blameless) but the fact remains that the collection of well paid internationals we stick out on the pitch should be beating the likes of Palace and Ipswich with ease and not conceding first in virtually every game.

The players should have been buzzing after the Villa 2nd half and look what we got yesterday. They pick and choose when they can be bothered and as Conte pointed out they won't fight for each other on a regular basis.

I didn't mention Levy, as it is completely pointless. He is not going anywhere right now.

posted 1 week, 6 days ago

So we don't fight it because he's not going anywhere? WTF? Try telling that to the Newcastle fans who drove Mike Ashley out. We have a duty to make his tenure enough of a misery so he does consider selling up, or at least accelerate investment. Encouraging the sack for yet another manager just allows Levy to pass the buck.

Honestly, he is rinsing you lot. We need to collectively not attend games, not drink at his special bars and leave him with a half empty stadium. They he'll think twice about sticking around.

we have to at least retain the win one lose one run if not better over those next 6 prem fixtures or you do have to start to worry we will see another reset

Man City (a) L
Fulham (h) W
Bournemouth (a) L
Chelsea (h) W
Southampton (a) W
Liverpool (h) L

obviously even those wins are very generous but have to be aiming to get at least 3 and maybe grab a draw somewhere too

europa league becoming a must win if we finish up outside of europe potless again

said the other day.. I cannot work out if we are good or shiiiit.

3 points off 3rd with the second best GD in the league suggests things are going ok... but we are sat in 10th having lost 5 league games by early November...

we have had as many awful performances as good ones.

coventry away / galatasaray away / palace away rank as some of the worst performances I have ever seen, and I am old enough to remember us gettinh smashed 7-1 by sheffield wednesday

the main issue I have is that the way we play just leaves us no margin of error... we cannot stumble to a 1-0 or 2-1 win... when it clicks we will blow most teams away (see villa), but often it wont click and therefore we will stink the place out.. its all or nothing.

so as we have a young team and squad.. inconsistency is expected, so we will continue to achieve nothing in the league until we seriously improve the first team.

from a league perspective, with the team we have, we are heading for a mid table finish.. its clear to see.. and many other managers would have us a lot higher...

however.. if we can actually seriously improve the squad and make the better days happen on a more consistent basis, we could do something exciting. but we wont.

many people consider us a cup team now, including me I guess... and then I remind myself that we are a cup team until we get drawn away from home, and at that point we will stink it out and probably feebly go out, regardless of opposition.

Anyway.. all out for the europa league and league cup for me...

lose v city and we should consider facking the league off in favour of the cups. guarantee ourselves top 8 in europa and rest the full team ahead of the united cup game...

I HATE the phrases spursy and Dr tottenham, but we will never beat the allegations.
