You've got some great managers and players since SAF left and they all turned to shiite at united. Armorim will be no different.

Eventually the tide turned at Klanfield after a very long wait. It will at United too one day.

Interestingly both clubs don't seem to be good at the same time. United had the 60's, Liverpool had the 70's and 80's, then United had the 90's, 00's and first few years of the 10's. Liverpool have obviously had 2014 to
2024.

Unlike with Barcelona and Madrid it seems like either United or Liverpool have to be average when the other is strong.

United really know how to treat their staff like shiite.

Ruud

Ruud man, fckin love him. Favourite player as a kid. Glad we got to give him a proper goodbye as a manager, didn’t get a great one as a player.

Not the hardest fixtures as interim but he did what was needed and brought some stability back ready for Amorim to take charge. Realised straight away we needed to solidify the middle of the park, real head scratcher for ETH that one.

I can't forget him rounding Sol Campbell with a lightening touch and scoring.

It's a shame as he seems to be a good influence to have at the club, but Amorim will bring his own team and you can't shoehorn Ruud into the dynamic.

Hopefully his short spell as interim will impress a PL enough to give him an opportunity and he can build some experience, I'd love to have him back one day. He really looked the part on the touchline didn't he?

I’m interested to see what’s next for Ruud. He’s spoken of having big ambitions as a coach, however, one things he’s said is that he wants to take time to learn before jumping into it. Apparently he didn’t actually want the PSV job when he got it and why he hasn’t yet gone back to being a head coach.

Think you're being generous to Liverpool there re: 2014-2024.

Both have won 5 major trophies in that time and both teams have finished above the other 5 times. Pretty even.

Although United have been abysmal/apalling/disgusting...etc....whilst Liverpool have been the dominant force in English football along with City...
