In his line of work? Not like that, beyond stupid to be honest, he can think and feel that all he wants, non-issue there but he's very likely to get the tin tack now

Yeah I'm sure if he had said the same about Arteta and Arsenal you would have been fine with it.

Hes sat with his mates who are saying we hate scousers, liverpool are bell ends etc. Its more than just what he thinks of Klopp isnt it?

His job is to be an impartial individual in the game and not to allow his personal likes or dislikes either affecting or being read or see by others to affect his decision making in a game of football.

He’s well and truly fwcked that up now and it’s his own arrogant fault. He’ll lose his professional career over this and deservedly so.

All the while during lockdown meant to be social distancing w.e, hes sat doing that

I mean I'm absolutely not shocked that refs would hold that viewpoint but he's at the highest level of a high profile profession and he should be expected to remain professional.

He hasn't managed that here so I think it's reasonable to have doubts over how professional he acts when reffing Liverpool games too.

Why the fk would you let someone film you saying it.

Sack him for being a thick cnt if nothing else.

i mean as a professional if you hate a manager so much you should ask not to be involved in their games. If you're not professional and man enough to iron out the issue man to man face to face just say to your boss dont involve me in this fixture whilst this mans here.

Did he? no he didnt, he got on plenty of games after, made some huge shocking calls against Liverpool. VVD was seriously injured and he didnt even do his job to sent Pickford off from VAR... This was after the Burnley game he mentions which was his first ever game reffing Liverpool and 3rd involved, as he was on VAR twice prior. Was involved in 13 games aftter the Burnley game, only one or 2 without Klopp...

It has been clear for a long, long time the PGMOL favour certain teams, and this is just another piece of evidence for that. Would have thought Clattenburg and Dean - both rated by the PGMOL as the best - stating they didn't officiate to the rules for their own personal gain would have been enough.

Questions have to be asked of Webb and PGMOL too, shocking.

posted on 11/11/24

But again, regardless if he has a point about Klopp, hes sat with i assume close friends to be comfortable with the filming what hes saying. Friends that are saying Liverpool are all bell ends and we hate scousers, at no point did he step in so can only assume he felt the same.

Wolves went about it wrong last summer. Instead of attacking VAR they should have gone for a vote of no confidence in the PGMOL. The standards have been awful for a while now - even pre-Webb.

Think it’s one of those where both sentiments can be true at the same time. He should lose his job for it but people are also reading too much into it.

It can't be brushed under the carpet like the Spurs debacle was, that's for sure.

Webb sat on the overlap the other week with his former utd pals with the audacity to blame fans on questioning refs integrity

There is one of those tomorrow. I trust Michael Owen to ask all the hard hitting questions...

Not Overlap, ref watch thingies.

posted on 11/11/24

What a mess, lets see how the PGMOL Mafia deals with it.

To the OP just watch the 2nd vid, and ask yourself whys he saying that? Whys he saying just to be clear that last video can't go anywhere. So no, its not blown out of proportion at all. Clown did it knowing he'd be in the sheit if it got out and as a ref fully understands why that would be the case.

Just checked and PL refs can earn 100k+. Anyone in any profession earning that kind of money will have all sorts in their contracts regarding conduct, and one of the biggest things these days is companies protecting their image and if you do anything that is perceived to damage the brand, you’re a goner.

I’ve said elsewhere that I don’t think he’s corrupt, but he doesn’t deserve to keep his job either.

Is it the manner in which he said it? Like if he had instead said on video he "disliked Liverpool and Klopp", would he be allowed to keep his job then?
