Compensation from City

Although why Spurs are trying to get compensation is anyone’s guess
------------------------------------------------
I think because 5th place gets top 4 this season, so if Spurs finish 6th then they should get 5th place, which is top 4 if Man City get found guilty.

Did Spurs finish 5th a few times? They could make the claim they lost out on CL money because of City’s cheating.

Same for United, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Hopefully we bring back Jose and give him his own open top bus to parade round Manchester if we succeed.

Man City should also be compensating their own fans for so many trips abroad, trips to cup finals which have ultimately turned out to be meaningless. The fans wouldn't have made the trips to Wembley for example if they knew that they couldn't legally win the trophy.

People mock the likes of Boris on here, but the poor bloke has spent thousands of his children's inheritance travelling to matches and competitions that it turns out his team aren't even eligible for.

It's a very similar situation as with Jimmy Savile. When everything came out, his fans lost years of happy memories that turned out were all a lie. City fans are still in the denial phase though.

When they accept that years of their life were a waste of time, then they will seek compensation. But it will take time to get there.

It shouldn’t stop with those 4 clubs. Relegated clubs have a claim too, especially those who were relegated due to their H2H record with City. Any club that missed out on Europe by one place should be going after City, too.

The likes of Stoke, Watford and Sunderland as well. Getting to major finals and missing out, and in Watford's case absolutely battered and humiliated.

The fact that every club city have faced , beaten in a final etc will have some sort of grievance only points to one outcome

They will be found not guilty …..the shat show that will follow with a guilty verdict will be endless

Spurs will end up with the highest pay out.

Not only have they been deprived of potential trophies, but they’ve been made the complete laughing stock of English football for over a decade partly due to City’s crimes against football.

Levy’s lawyers will be all over this.

Don't forget that 50 grand they missed out on when they lost the Carabao final a few years ago. Levy will be fuming about that.

Wasn't this story (although probably not by the same outlet) published during the last international break, and the one before that?

This has pretty much been my view for quite some time.

Think they will have to be found guilty for non-compliance though. Can't see how they can avoid that.

They won’t be stripped of any titles, the ramifications would be nuclear

Doubt it, as it would mean a bigger pay off for Mourinho. They probably won’t contest that one.

Saying Prince William the unemployed celebrity Villa fan was moaning about what a tough year he’d had.

Having your wife who you have 3 young children with and your father both suffering with cancer is a right laugh.
