Carsley and Kane

Kane hasn't missed a single Bayern game, including Pokal. Yet the hardest England game so far he sat out... 🤔
Bit of hypocrisy from the captain, and I'm sure the injured players see it.

posted 1 week, 1 day ago

Put Palmer on pen duty, then see how much Kane wants to play

What rubbish !

Kane missed the Greece game, injured, but was present in the squad.

Since March 2018, which was that last of his major ankle injuries that saw him miss a lot of Spurs & England games from 2016-2018, Kane has been present in every squad up to the March/April friendlies of this year when he again had an ankle injury.

The only other games he has missed in that 6 year period was a friendly vs Wales (2020) and Greece at home recently...on both occassions he was in the squad but not fit enough to play.

He has an attendance record better than any other, and more than anyone can call out those who pick and chose when they want to play for their country, some of which routinely drop out.

Glad Kane called them out, its the same bunch pretty much bar one or two. No doubt Trent will be the only one to miss their clubs first game back out of the 7 or so that pulled out.

posted 1 week, 1 day ago

Infact lets come back to it.

Aaron Ramsdale, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Levi Colwill, Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Cole Palmer, Jack Grealish and Phil Foden withdrew from the squad.

And see which are in their clubs squads for the first games back after Internationals.

posted 1 week, 1 day ago

When has Saka pulled out before? He was injured last international break while on duty. England sent him back and he was unavailable for Arsenal. He had played 11 in a row before that and was injured club and country before then.
Declan Rice has played or been on the bench for every international since 2021. He has a broken toe.

Saka and Rice will 100% be playing for Arsenal, it’s the Paella Pulis special.

Aye, first time Rice has missed a call up and it is a "special"
Why do Liverpool fans care anyway? #scousenotenglish

But spurs are chit so nobody would care if he got injured as they never win anything even with a full strength team.

Saka pulled out of the March 2024 friendlies and played a full part in games either side.

He pulled out of the October games in 2023 and played a full part either side of that break.

So he has a bit of form.
