Unless it’s for everything other than live games
Just loads of w@nk youtubers discussing tactics and the latest socials of players and managers etc.
Access to full re-runs of old games and all live press conferences etc.
Only £9.99 a month, but still tune in to either Sky, Amazon or BT for the actual matches.

It will be really interesting to see what happens.
The PL could offer subscriptions for individual team packages, but still allow sky to sell their packages as they currently do. They would certainly lose a lot of customers, but perhaps not as many as we might initially think. Then again, the PL might as well just do those kinds of packages direct.

A package to have all 38 league games of a specific team, plus ‘big match pack’ or something where you get a few of the usual TV slot games a week I would pay for. Even as a regular match goer for home games.

I wonder what the global uptake would be for a £15-30 a month subscription that gives access to all PL (& maybe Championship) games, with the portion of the revenues assigned to the clubs split evenly across all teams across the pyramid from PL to League 2 (or something)?
I suppose it all comes down to global uptake and the monthly fee, but you'd think if the numbers worked there would be opportunity to support a lot of teams across the pyramid. This would negate the concerns about televised 3pm games negatively affecting smaller club's matchday revenues, would level the playing field in terms of TV money and offer financial security to smaller clubs by leveraging the global popularity of the PL.
Netflix has about 283m global subscribers... Surely the PL would absolutely dwarf that?

Was a bit glitchy the first year they did it but since then its been pretty much on par with live TV. Better than anything on SkyGo/iPlayer/ITVx etc.

With HBO set to enter the European and UK markets, Sky is facing big challenges to stay at the top of the premium content game. HBO produces a number of high-quality, exclusive shows that pulls in viewers. This puts Sky under even more pressure, as it relies heavily on deals with providers like HBO due to its limited original content offerings.
Right now, Sky’s biggest draw in the UK is the EPL. For many people, football is the main reason they subscribe. But if Sky were to lose those rights, it could be a deathnell. They wouldn’t have much else to stand out in a market already packed with major players especially in the digital streaming space.
Things could get even trickier if the EPL decides to launch its own streaming platform. That would cut out Sky completely, allowing the league to connect directly with fans. By offering season passes or subscriptions to every game, the EPL could attract a huge audience and keep all the revenue for itself. The EPL owes much of its success to Sky, so could the league really bite the hand that feeds it? Or perhaps the EPL is simply preparing for Sky’s eventual decline. With Sky's revenues likely to shrink, the age of record breaking deals with Sky might already be a thing of the past.
