I don’t rate meslier, never have, His positioning is erratic, his save stats are consistently poor over a long enough period for it to mean something. He parries/punches crosses when he could catch and he parries shots back into the danger area too often. But that was unlucky. Keepers react to the initial shot and it’s hard to adjust your weight for a deflection .

Similar pattern to first half just need that killer pass to capitalise

Bamford I defend plenty of times because he contributed last season and contributes when he plays and is fit.

Meslier I just don’t see how he adds anything to the team, doesn’t save much, not sure what he’s good at anymore.

It's too commonplace on this forum nowadays.

There seem to be some decent folk, but many resort to textbook keyboard warrior mode as soon as anyone expresses an opinion they don't agree with. Half a dozen names come straight to mind.
