""I didn't expect that at Anfield," Guardiola told Sky Sports afterwards when asked about the "sacked in the morning" chants.
"I didn't expect it from the people from Liverpool but it's fine, it's part of the game, and I understand completely.
"We've had incredible battles together. I have a respect for them."

I thought he took it as a joke and responded in kind tbh, he was laughing while he did it.
In terms of the game, it went exactly as I thought it would tbh with the midfield we put out and the form we’re in at the mo. I’m looking forward to seeing how Pep and the club try and sort it, it’s actually quite nice to have a different challenge!
Liverpool are looking very solid, can’t see you dropping too many points this season.

For me, Pep is one of the best managers the world has seen in modern times,
---
Because he's been successful with Barcelona, Bayern and Moneybags City?
He's lost one player and the wheels haven't just fallen off, they've completely imploded.
He's not even the best manager in Manchester anymore.

He’s not just lost one player, we won the games after Rodri got injured. We then started losing when Dias and others got injured too. Couple that with time catching up with a few of the others and our squad is not in good shape right now.
And he’s successful because of his win rate with those clubs and the influence he’s had on other coaches of his generation, who know more about the topic than any of us on here.
