We then started losing when Dias and others got injured too. Couple that with time catching up with a few of the others and our squad is not in good shape right now.

And who put that squad together?

With no input from 'one of the best managers the world has seen in modern times'?
I'd expect one of the best managers the world has seen in modern times to be allowed some freedom when it comes to recruitment, rather than waiting for the team to become aging, injured and lacking in depth.

Of course he’d have had input but it’s literally Begiristains job. Guardiola can be partly to blame as he likes working with small squads and probably has been too sentimental with a few of them. That’s fine, he’s allowed to have an off season.

I thought Pep took it as a joke and reacted accordingly.
What is laughable are various websites and the likes of TalkShyte seriously thinking he might get the sack after a handful of bad results.

It won't be an off season though.. most of the players are over 30 and theres no money and a small matter of 115 charges..

Have I woken up in 2029?

at least 6 and most are in their late 20s.. you have a big build ahead.. no way is this a once off.. if the PL does its job and City are deducted points. you won't win the league next season either.
You'd be lucky to get into the top 4 this season.. your players legs have gone.

So it's gone from 'over 30' to 'late 20's' which is when players are in their prime.

Probably Walker's and KdB's last season, Gundo only starting because of injuries.
Pep will rebuild and like any other club, it won't happen overnight. He won nothing in his first season but finished 3rd, most fans will accept the same again this season.
