Game went to expectation, however the goals we conceded were preventable đ¤
For what its worth my MoM was Ben O.

We'll see how good Leeds are when Boro visit on Tues.

Well played Leeds, yes better than a lot of us were thinking. I think Leeds will win it

Done ok today and your keeper was excellent
Good luck for the rest of the season.

I think all would agree that the weather made the game a complete lottery and that it could just as easily have gone the other way.

Cheers Earl, I think we may need our fair share of luck

Well I imagine most felt we would lose by at least four so it is immense credit that we restricted them to two. The plan presumably was to keep it down to nil until at least half time and then try and be more expansive and it so nearly worked. Some well-organised, heroic defending until undone by not having Nyambe at right back where Wilson showed his defensive frailties.
OK Meslier had just one shot to save but I expected no more and there was more forward-thinking in the second half when Kenzo and Harness started creating in the final third (albeit at a time when Leeds were pretty safe).
I'm not into much criticism given injuries and Leeds' spending power - the only critical points for me were our usual lack of care of the ball when we did manage to get possession (first half) and ineffectiveness from our much-vaunted set-pieces.
Lots of good defensive performances and my MOM was JWZ for three excellent saves. Our current lack of form is, however, worrying and things need to change somehow.

Can I change that to Zett ! Thanks for reminding me Chicago.

Think PWs post match interview on RD is going to prompt a lot of criticism from the 'X'erati etc. đ¤

I wonder if you know what irony is Bear. I doubt it.

He thinks it is something that is quite like iron, but isn't actually iron.

I don't know why Wilson was marking Rodon who seemed to be their tallest player. Surely Nelson or Phillips should have been doing that.
I thought Forsyth should have been our MOTM. Zetterstroom made one excellent save and 2 ordinary ones where he throws himself about on a straight shot. Too flashy for my liking.
I'm a United fan tonight.

Strikes me that the modern way of defending corners is no longer about challenging for the ball in the air, but trying to hamper & obstruct the opposition.
More like a game of kabaddi really.

Those who predicted we would do well to get nil were made to look pretty foolish. We managed it comfortably.

Nice to see a good match thread from opposition for a change. This season, games like today will not define your season. Leeds are in a good place, could be better, but it doesn't eliminate the eternal doubts in the mind of a Leeds fan that we will never see smooth sailing. This makes the championship probably the most enjoyable league there is. Of course we want to win it and get out, but being a big fish in the smaller pond sure is more fun than getting up and losing most weeks.
Like a vicious circle, perhaps next time we make it we may sustain.
Good luck to you.
That playoff semi will forever live in my head, though I am a huge believer that you cannot fully enjoy the best times without having endured the worst.
