The way I did we didnt plan on going vancouver (VA) so it was a bit random:

Flew into Seattle (good place would recommend). Then went up to VA, was too hungover and fed up from the drive so didnt enjoy it but I think it is meant to be excellent. Went down to Portland, great fun and had friends their who showed us a good time. Went across the West Coast camping, stayed at a place called Sunset Bay which was nice and Crater Lake which was AMAZING 10/10 views seriously.
Went through Cali through the redwood forrests which was fun and stayed Sacramento just as a place to crash, went to Yosemite which is unreal and would hugely recommend.
Then went across to San Fran which was crazy fun, stayed a few nights in Santa Cruz which was cool saw Smash Mouth for free at the beach and went on the Big Dipper. Drove the rest of route 1 and went to LA (stayed venice beach) I enjoyed it a lot but we had heard a lot of bad things.
Went to Vegas and went absolutely mad.

Expensive holiday though, 5 weeks £5k.

How much did you drop in Vegas?

I won about 800 dollars and spent about the same on strippers in one night.

Aside from that though trip to Grand Canyon by plane was £150, staying there for a week was about £200, Aviici pool party about £125.

No, it was in 2014.

I've done a bunch of travelling with the gf as well but that was a LADuation road trip when me and my mate finished uni. Rented a Mustang and all that.

Very much so, but we rented a toyota and got a free upgrade to a mustang
