Blarmy doesn't approve though because he has surprisingly pro-white/pro-British/right wing views.
I dont think you have a good grasp on my views tbh. I dont know much about yours across the board either
Tbf Paulinho isn't as bad as the hype around him suggest, genuinely played alright for us a few times as a 10. Just came into the wrong club at the wrong time.
Not Barcelona standard though, but if he had gone to Chelsea when he went to us I think we would be talking about a good player (better than Matic imo).
Now we are signing someone im not familiar with at all to replace him. Apparently he had a good game vs u lot
I went to the Spurs vs Monaco home game and honestly don't remember a single thing about the game or who played well except that Trippier was appalling. I don't remember much about our CL campaign thankfully.
I hate the transfer window and this one more than ever, it is unnacceptable that teams are spending 100s of millions of £s on footballers ffs.
There isn't much in this world we can control, but there is a much that bothers me.

how is this even controversial and why is Serena being a d'ck about it
I would argue it is both controversial and unnecessary.
What are the motives of McEnroe to say it? Only to put Serena down and discredit womens tennis. It's not like Serena can prove him wrong considering she is like 7 months pregnant or something.
Personally I think she would have a chance and would probably win, her average serve is like 130mph which is solid and she has a lot of composure and bottle.
5 set game she would struggle though.
Its bad timing but these claims have been made for ages. I dount he just came out with this too although the article makes it seem that way
Appears he was asked to qualify a point in his memoir
'During an interview with NPR as a part of his promotional tour for his upcoming memoir titled But Seriously, John McEnroe was asked about a part in his book in which he says Serena Williams is the best female tennis player in the world. While McEnroe also believes she's "no question" the best female player ever – this comes a couple of years after he said she's "one of the all-time greatest athletes, period" – he feels like the qualifier is necessary because she wouldn’t be able to match up with the best male tennis players in the world.

In McEnroe's mind, Williams would be lucky to crack the top 700 in men's tennis.
"Well, because if she was in, if she played the men's circuit, she'd be like 700 in the world," McEnroe said.
"That doesn't mean I don't think Serena is an incredible player," he continued. "I do, but the reality of what would happen would be I think something that perhaps it'd be a little higher, perhaps it'd be a little lower. And on a given day, Serena could beat some players. I believe because she's so incredibly strong mentally that she could overcome some situations where players would choke ’cause she’s been in it so many times, so many situations at Wimbledon, The U.S. Open, etc. But if she had to just play the circuit – the men's circuit – that would be an entirely different story."
