the lad looks like he could be handy with his fists. he's grinning as if it's all a bit of fun, but you know that look and this lad is raring to go and could flip at any moment. there's noone else within sight except for bar girls.

I've already explained on here what i did.

i shouted "hey"

the guy let go of the girl.

the guy grinned at the tuktuk driver and ignored me

the girl went back in the bar

the guy went back in the bar after her

i asked the girls outside if it was ok

they said it was ok

i went on my way


im not entirely satisfied that i handled it ok, but there are cameras in the bars, so i presume if there was an issue back inside security would have rocked up eventually, so she was probably better i there than before i yelled hey at the guy.

It's an unfortunate lapse and I'm calling BS on it.

Obviously when he spoke to the girls outside the bar they would have insisted that he either pump them or get up on the main stage. More likely both.

No way would they just let him walk off.

anyway, im sorry for not doing more and i hope the chick was ok. i think if it hadn't have been my last night i would have gone in, but as it was i didn't.

the way i see it there were really 4 options:

1. lose it and go in punching (i no longer have the strength to wrestle a reasonably 'built' young lad). possible kicking, possible get lock up the night before i was flying.

2. give it the full vocals. might make the fella do a runner. if not then much more likely to get a kicking as not mentally committed to fighting.

3. do what i did. may have helped her may have done fack all.

4. go in calmly telling the guy that's assault he can't pull a woman by the hair. he'd have probably laughed at me and told me to fkca off.

5. walk on by.


it probably didn't help that i'd completely lost it about a week before and had about 3 days of soul searching about never losing my rag again.
