Na I’ll be the only one in as most of the staff are furloughed still.
Just got to go in do a stock check.
You looking forward to getting back to reality a bit?
I've been thinking of heading into the office for a change of scenery. Working from home is starting to do my head in.
Yea it’ll be nice to have a bit of a change.

something’s got to give, there isn’t a magic wand to avoid a mass extinction yet...
Bread sounds good. best of luck out there. 😷

Aren't we a bit late to worry about mass extinctions? We've done it. Sorry, but it's like people getting upset about the Amazon being destroyed. Of course it's sad to lose something beautiful, but they're doing it for homes and farms. Exactly the same happened in the Northern Hemisphere to build all these lovely cities we live in. Unless we're massive hypocrites we should destroy them and return it all to nature.
Or we could leverage the brightest and best in an effort to make sure we can all be fed and have comforts like heating and electricity, and worry about nature after. I know it's taboo, but push come to shove, you're letting a panda die before your kids.
I've read that the global population will top out at around 10bn. As countries become more developed we're going to flatten the curve - it's not going to double again like it did in our parents' lifetime. We can think our way out of the problems that causes, and capitalism will drive people to do it for selfish reasons if nothing else. There is no alternative. Not one that you could get people to vote for, anyway.
We'll be alright. It's just a period of adjustment.
Banana bread is lush btw.
Making me hungry
I’ll have a wine to stave it off

Americans need for strippers has seen the creation of the drive through strip club. Why let a virus get in the way of your need to see some tiddies.
J’s on his way to the US and has already arranged his vehicle hire for collection at the airport.

America's billionaires grew their wealth by $282,000,000,000 in just 23 days during the lockdown.
That's $12,300,000,000 a day.
Meanwhile, millions of Americans are out of work and struggling to pay the bills.

My pops started on this ‘let’s get the economy restarted’ bandwagon and I was like ‘what about the people who would die’ and he was like ‘well more people will die due to subsequent alcoholism/depression/economic depression etc’ (which is a fair point). So I said ‘you would be losing 3% of the population for the sake of the economy?’ And he didn’t like the bluntness of it so disagreed. So I asked why we couldn’t just kill all the billionaires (thus soaring way more lives) and pump their money back into the economy.
Apparently that is barbaric
