Just seen a guy get his face smashed up with a large rock

Fk I feel so bad after seeing that. Poor bustard.

One of the worst things I've ever seen.

Context?

Am in Stone Town. 5.30pm broad daylight.

Was just walking round the back of the Fort (a busy tourist area) when I hear raised voices.

Go round the corner and there's 4 blokes against 1 (all locals) with a copper trying without success to intervene.

The guy on his own's on the floor when the lead from the 4 picks up a sharp edged rock that fills his whole hand.

The copper goes for the arm with the rock but misses and the lead guy smashes it into the face of the 1 guy on the floor as he (the basher) says to the copper "no, my family my family".

I go back to the corner and shout POLICE POLICE POLICE as the rock smashes into the guy's face again.

When I come back a few seconds later, the 4 are walking away. The copper's disappeared. The guy on the floor's getting to his feet covered in blood and blood pouring off his face.
