The thing with Kane, he wasn't 100% fit and Lucas didn't deserve to be dropped, at all. Definitely it's easy to say in hindsight that Poch made the wrong call but it wasn't so cut and dried, I seem to remember the fanbase was 50-50 on it.

I think the larger point re: Kane dominating the landscape for good or bad is more interesting, though. Like aside from what happens in games, we can't sign another striker with him around.

Kane played well and was the player who created most the opportunities we had as well. Was the best of our attackers.

Michael Cox did a great piece breaking down why Kane starting was completely right and necessary.

I think everyone quite rightly assumed Lucas had earned his/our place in the final regardless of Kane playing.

You never know with zanzibbar. It's quite strict Muslim and people can be a bit funny. People on the minibus seemed cool enough though and I could've tried Yeah. She was FAF.
I also pretty much turned down quite a pretty girl at the bus stop. She was from the mainland and was angling for a meet up tomorrow. The odds on me pulling on this trip are tumbling.
