No doubt it's a smart model to go around buying up all the good youth talent. Is it something to be celebrated, though? I'm not sure.

We have lost a few talents we developed from young as well

Musiala was at the club from 11 and he skipped off to Bayern at 17

Rice from age 7
Livramento from age 7
Tammy from age 7
Lamptey from age 8
Tomori from age 8

We also lost Eddie Nketiah who we had from 9 to 16 but i dont know if he makes it at the top level or not

Also, it’s crooks though Blarmy - he hasn’t had a coherent footballing opinion since 2004.

As an aside I’ve been really unimpressed with Gilmore - the few times I’ve seen him for Norwich he’s been poor and he had an absolute shocker vs us. Reminds me of Tom Carroll in the 2/3 games I’ve seen him.
