I do miss his football a bit though, the thing about this Conte team is that if we don’t win anything it’s kinda all been for nothing.

Which is why I wanted Potter the summer of Nuno as I could get behind a project more easily than a win now manager. If we don’t win anything under Conte it will frustrate me massively (I do very highly rate him and his brilliant 523)

I kinda get some of the issues with the fans as well though. The football is a tough watch.

I don’t think it’s that much of a tough watch bar playing the top teams.

From jan to end of season we played magnificent so we know its works. Players just haven’t turned up regularly this season.

For last 18 months under poch it was awful. The Sissoko winks midfield was so bad.

more than just the personnel, i know there are some players there who are pretty average but its so negative sitting so deep just inviting pressure to pass out unsuccessfully or punt it forward, losing the ball either way


since that moving from WHL kinda gone off football and spurs have just frustrated and bored me. felt genuinely sad last night how far ive fallen out of love with the game. just have an unhealthy relationship with football now. this site probably partly to blame but the main thing for football for me is riding the highs and lows with other fans

feel any team that press well we are going to struggle because we dont counter press, just trying to play out with players struggling to do the basics.

like i said Kuluseveski is a big miss to how we play and we really needed another one of him in the summer. if we just lose the big away games all season we'll be doing alright tbf, just when its a chore watching most games its hard to get that up for it

two pretty big ifs but Kulu playing and Emerson not getting sent off we would have got something from Arsenal who are top of the league and we always more often than not lose away to them even when theyre in bad form

heard some saying on pods about us drubbing someone feels not to far away but kinda felt its the opposite that we are due getting battered and that really did happen last night and could have been 6-0 easily

This site does take the joy away from watching the team.

I try and stay of the live thread during games and just come on at half time or when we score.

Also try not biting on articles anymore. Especially if you’ve got the like of Fridgeboy or I repeat on them and get tedious quickly

Last night was definitely the most annoying for me; Chelsea we were out-tactic'd and they played really well; against Arsenal we just made stupid mistakes when the gameplan was working; however last night was completely hopeless

i agree but i feel against lesser sides too it has been too laid back, deep and slow especially in first halves, where we cant keep getting way with that.

Which games specifically?

the CL games vs Sporting & Marseille, Leicester, Southampton, Wolves, Brighton, Everton, Forest

Soton and Everton tbf was a pretty short spells at beginning of the matches

I would say we were good in the Saints, Leicester, Everton and Forest games.

Marseille we were slow but I don’t mind us playing like that as a first attempt in the CL.
